Hi everyone. I'm a pretty big part of TGWTG community, and I will try to make some things more clear, as there seems to be some confusion.

1) Spoony was not let go from TGWTG for what he said to JO, nor Lupa. He was let go because of fan complaints on how he was acting during his suspension.

2) A lot of producers, both TGWTG and non-, have "neutrally" weighed in on the subject ie given how they see it without specifically picked sides. The general consensus amongst the "neutrals" is that they understand the decision by TGWTG, but hope that Spoony gets the help he needs and feels better.

3) LK is not part of TGWTG, he has not been for quite a while. Despite that, what he has said has not sat well with many producers and fans, as that is something you don't say to someone who clearly has some form of depression.

4) None of this is the fault of Lupa, JO, Nash, or any one person. This is a business decision. Don't point fingers. Don't be like the crazy fans (like the ones that are giving Lupa death threats) that can be akinned to members of 4chan.

I'm not. The people I like over at channel awesome are staying out of it as much as possible. Also, the split seems to be an amicable one between both parties. It's not like they future endeavored him.

Also, it's obvious that Spoony needs some time away from the Internet to get his priorities in order. He needs to see a counselor to get his rage in check and maybe finally deal with his breakup with Scarlett, his health, and his chosen profession. It is obvious from his videos and content lately that he is not having fun with them. Also, look at him. He is tired and worn out.

I know this is weird to some people, but I do not like rage spoony. Rage Spoony takes the fun out of Internet reviewing. I like him when he is atleast enjoying what he is poking fun of. The last time I really had fun watching his videos was in his celebration of Reb Brown a while back.

He should go back to poking fun at things he likes rather than what his fans asked him to do. He plans on playing FF9 to ***** about it. He also wants to come back to Ff13 so he can ***** about it. Regardless of how deserving they are of reaming, it's not good for the man to keep this up.

1)The getting suspended part is not entirely clear, but it might be from the rape joke he made towards JO.....or not. Its never been entirely clear, and as someone who is not a part of the inner workings of TGWTG, I will probably never know.

2) Read those forums a bit more, go look at the Twitters of the various members and admins of TGWTG, its all there.

The fact that the original unfunny rape joke tweet was posted over a month ago and Allison apparently only felt the need to bring up how "super offensive" it was first now, after all parties involved seem to have let it go, kinda makes it seem like her only reason in making a big deal out of it is some personal grudge against Noah. Or maybe a rough month is just how long it takes for something to get through her skull?
If it was just a matter of her being offended by a shitty joke, I would have no problem with it. People are allowed to be offended.
This is a month too late to have anything to do with being offended and I am not buying it.

I'm not really a fan of either of them, though Noah at least used to be funny, something I can't say I have ever found Allison to be (though that is down to personal tastes in the end, so it doesn't matter). Of course, I keep finding myself somewhat unable to enjoy Noah's work because of his bloated ego and habit of handling constructive criticism (or anything that isn't mindless ass-kissing) with the grace of the average 14yrold deviantArt user. The way he has been seemingly spiralling out of control lately makes me half expect him to go postal.

Lovely seeing how gracefully some of the other members of Channel Awesome are handling the situation too. But hey, at least the delicious drama is more entertaining than a good majority of the shit they pass off as "reviews".

The only member of Channel Awesome I still find entertaining is Brad.

I might have to go watch the video he made about it again but from memory he said that yeah, they used to give whoever was raking in the most views top billing on the site. I'm sad to see him go. He's funny, and has some good points of view on things, not to mention we share some of the same thoughts on things. He's apparently a pretty good guy, but has some pretty bad emotional issues that caused this. It's really sad to see, especially since he's lashing out at his own fans. Well that sucks, I was just watching the spoony rifftrax video for After Last Season (which you people need to see, it's freaking hilarious).

There needs to be more explanation on why a veteran contributer was kicked off. It must have been big.

Edit: So it seems Spoony made a "joke" to JesusOtaku, saying he wanted to tie her up in a basement and rape her. She took it about as well as you might expect but it was otherwise swept up under the rug.

Come a few months later and Allison (lupa) bought back up the old tweet as a way to attack him (apparently she doesn't like the guy, go figure). He went apeshit bananas over this and mauled anyone who tried to contact him over twitter (Spoony apparenly suffers from heavy depression so some of this can probably be understood). Then it seems half of the entire TGWTG cast gave their 2cents worth and kept harassing him over the rape tweet.
Things blew up pretty big to the point where the P.R team had to step in and take charge.

Can't say I've seen his videos lately but I always liked the ones I did see back in the day. Guess things have changed a lot since then.

Nope, the rape joke had nothing to do with it.

The reason he was suspended for 4 weeks was because he raged at someone on twitter who told him to "Snap out of it" obviously Spoony went nuts on guy. Spoony seemed cool about it at first and said he agreed with the decision, but hours later he had a mental breakdown and went absolutely insane on his twitter. Basically raging and blocking anyone who dared to talk some sense into him. This resulted in him being fired.

I think it was a wise decision, Spoony was a complete jerk to his fanbase for almost nothing. Hopefully one day he'll stop using twitter as a way to vent his personal frustration and go get some professional help.

And for the love of God stop whining about Scarlet. It was over a year ago, move on with your life.

As someone who's been following Spoony on Twitter for years now, I sort of feel he's really derailed in recent months, in between long series of Tweets of self-pity, saying he can't trust anyone, making off colour comments (or being downright rude) and/or saying he'll be staying off Twitter for a while (only to in the end not do so at all), I can't really blame the TGWTG administration for kicking him at all. In this age of modern media, the things you put on Twitter can affect your reputation along with those you associate with.

And Spoony has become pretty pathetic as of late thus, yeah, I can sorta see why they ditched him. I hope Spoony will see this as a clear sign he needs to get some professional help. He easily was one of my favourite TGWTG contributors back in 2009, but nowadays... eh. Poor guy has sunk quite a bit.

As to LordKat, he's just a sad little man who managed to ride other people's coattails, have friends in the right places to get onto TGWTG, and then squander it all because he's too lazy to do anything truly productive, instead opting to just stream his life away and alienating his original fans while picking fights with people bigger than he is in hopes of getting people to come by his site. But that's a whole different topic.
