These Are the Actual Pokemon Black & White Starters

Why so much hating on the water type. He kinda looks like a polar bear, so that would equal a total kick-ass evolution. Polar Bears rock, now just give me a musk ox pokemon and everything will be cool.
I always judge the starters based on what their final evolutions look like, and in that case I've really yet to be disappointed. So I'm going to wait until the screens/images of their final evolution are revealed. But from what others have guessed, a flaming boar, green dragon, and polar bear sound pretty cool.
What pisses me off is that all the new Pokémon have gone the DARK AND EDGY route. The first Gen started off kinda cute and evolved into big, bad-ass monsters. Squirtle, for example, is freakin' adorable and Blastoise was bad-ass. Nowadays, they start off goofy and end up ridiculous :|
So we have Smug, Ecstatic, and Melancholy? Not bad, not bad. Admittedly, I was apprehensive when I first saw them but after giving them another look over, I've decided that I like them. They're different. Sure. But they're not bad. I'll probably be taking the fire starter, as per usual but I'm going to be torn if the other two have cool final forms. This reminds me of how the last batch went. Everyone cried over their first forms then fell in love with their final forms. Empoleon, Torterra, and Infernape.
I'd rather have flame broiled pork over firey kung fu chicken anyday. The only way the boar will disappoint me is if it goes bipedal. Enough with the fire/fighting starters already!

i love them, im sorry but i love 'em to bits! and id just like to repeat the fact that the grass type looks alot like milotic
Believe it or not I actually like them,sure, the water type may look like it grew up next to a sewage plant and fire and pig is not a good mix(but it still tastes good), if their gonna imitate any existing pokémon I'd see it like this:
Grass:it's final form could be part dragon(like Flygon)or part psychic(it reminds me of Ralts)
Fire :I can imagine it like Phanphy so expect him to have crap moves, then later get good ones.
Water:It reminds me somewhat of Chansey with the shell being held so I'm guessing it's
gonna be a defensive tank.

Soon we will be choosing between a glass of water a lit match and a clump of freshy mown lawn with googly eyes sellotaped on.
Grass appeals for the first time since Bulbasaur (fucking love Bulbasaur). He looks snooty and I dunno, never really like faux adorable Pokémon and the water one looks so apathetic. Not got great hopes for these games anyway in way of innovation, but I'll be playing as I have always, not like I have anything else to do with 20 hours of my life.
