I have no idea what you asshats are talking about. If anything, Pokemon design quality has IMPROVED since generation 1. All those first-genners were so bland and monocolor! These are actually visually exciting!
I also love how no one bothers to explain why they hate these so much, instead opting to go "BAWWW BAWWW RUINED FOREVER". The otter isn't great, but the skink (for it IS a skink) and the pig are both awesome-looking.

I've only read the first page, but am astounded by the lack of realisation that the watermon is a freaking PLATYPUS. Not an otter. Not a Beaver. A FLIPPIN' PLAT-AY-PUSS.

Then to rub salt into the wound they bastardise originals with either a crappy pre evolution or a third evolution (Rhyperior and Magnezone ARE NOT a pokemon to me). now i hear of an evolution to Far'fectched. THIS IS BULL SHIT. what next Doquadro, a dodrio with four heads??? Napolaparte(Napoleon Bonaparte), the only plausable name for the evolution for Kangaskhan(Ghengis Khan).
