Yeah no one would make Titanic 2 after what happened to the original Titanic. It's like if there was a global war after the catastrophe of WWI. People aren't that stupid. :p

The impression I got here was that this was one of those trailers that gave away all the best bits of the film, it's just that they're still awful

it's a movie about a boat named the Titanic 2 that's built to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the original Titanic's ill-fated voyage. The new boat sets out on the same route as its predecessor and (spoiler alert) an iceberg floats into its path.
That's like remembering the 100 year anniversary of a man driving off of a cliff, by intentionally driving the same route he did, right down to the part where you fly off of the cliff.

I hope they made this with the INTENTION of making a "so stupid it's funny" movie.
In a 100 years they'll make the World Trade Center 2.

Yeah, I went there.

I demand Movie Bob review this, or at least laugh at it for a good while.

It looked terrible, but not even the good terrible where you can laugh at it, looks more like something to pity.

you dont believe me?? then why are there no "13" floor buttons on the elevators of hotels and other simmilar places??
...what? i don't get it
the number "13" is supposedly of bad luck

people are superstitious, and in several buildings with over 12 floors, in the elevators they take out the "13"

so it would go 11-12-14-15 in the pannel

I cant assure you that "every" building is the same, but I know in all the buildings i have been it haves been the case, they skip the laveling of the "13th" floor

so if people are like that with one floor, do you really think they would be "ah, lets do the same thing!!!"

that was my point

Or commemorating the anniversary of 9/11 by flying a plane into a large building
No man, TWO large buildings.

Hmm, bad taste much?

Anyway, just can't believe the inherent stupidity of the premise here. The thought that anyone would even consider naming a ship the Titanic 2 is beyond me. Also, the fact that the ship appears to be hit by a tidal wave instead of colliding with an iceberg basically makes this The Poseiden Adventure, unless I've missed something....

Isn't history all about learning from a mistake and not repeating that in the future? I mean, really now. Though I have to admit it's kind of funny to think about people actually doing this. However, should someone get the idea to do this in real life, I'd be very, very worried.

PS: Whenever I see the iceberg in the Titanic, I always grab my closest friend and shout "It's a trap!" just for the kicks.

This looks worse than a particularly shitty Scyfi original production. And they have had some real crappers. Just look at Bone Eater.

OT: They might as well have gone the Doctor Who route and made a movie about a Space Luxury Liner named the Titanic 2000 that ran into an asteroid field...

That's just such a bad idea, I can't believe there were people that said "yeah, you should make that, will a million dollar budget work?" and then they sent em on their way. Sometimes I don't know how other people think it's a good idea..
