Bolt pistols and bolters are both only Semi-automatic, but can fire bursts of two. The heavy bolter, on the other hand, is fully automatic, though it doesn't fire at the rate of, say, a heavy machine gun irl.Namewithheld said:And the bolter looked semi-automatic too!Soviet Heavy said:Exploding Bolter rounds! They finally got it right!
Seriously, it pisses me off so much when bolters are shown being automatic. ONLY HEAVY BOLTERS DO THAT, GOD!
I doubt it - one of the things they mentioned in the video was that they wanted the player to be able to seemlessly swap between melee and ranged.Samnite said:Looks good - combat seems to flow pretty well. Although I've a horrible feeling they'll make you chose a close combat weapon and a gun at the start of a mission and no be able to change them for ages...
They've got those as pre-order bonuses, Gamestop gets you chapter skins of the Space Wolves and Black Templars, Steam gets you Blood Ravens and BestBuy gets you Iron Warriors and Emperor's Children (yep, Traitor Legions).teebeeohh said:oh and please let me recolor my armor and pretend i am a marine of a much cooler chapter.

since i don't have best buy around here i probably will, for the first time ever, buy something at game stop. Just for a blueish grey.
Only because they're hilariously nerfed for tabletop. In real 40k all those orks would rush him at once (probably fighting each other to 'ave a go first) and then he would kill all of them.Arcane Azmadi said:A Space Marine is a mighty warrior, sure, but single marines don't cleave through entire armies single-handedly.
Yes, I believe they released rules for the movie/lore marines once. You got like 5 for the cost of an army.GloatingSwine said:Only because they're hilariously nerfed for tabletop. This was a trailer about combat, wait for other for the RPG sectionAlavar91 said:The game certainly looks pretty and I think it'll probably do well when it ships. Although I am sad that they haven't demonstrated any of the 'RPG' elements they were originally talking about.
