Except they're putting a load of restrictions on it, like not being able to use the appearance of items without stats. Or a different armor type, or weapon type. Or legendaries. And it must be an item your class can use.

This is something that I have been waiting for for a long time. Might actually start playing again, and actually enjoy the game. I can finally wear my gladiator, or dark coven gear without being constrained by stats. Well done blizzard, one thing though....120 g, seriously?

I think its also worth mentioning that 4.3 is the last patch of this expansions , as in the deathwing fight

I am pretty sure there is at least one more patch before Deathwing. War of the Ancients patch, with the new CoT raid.

Sooooo... they're lifting a feature from lotro and vindictus? It's hardly ground breaking, but at least they know a good idea when they see one. World of Warcraft is the Roman Empire of mmo's. They're powerful and old but they adopt ideas from outside readily and are constantly being changed by them.

Damn this almost makes me want to back to play WoW. Almost.

Probably should have been in since BC, if not earlier. I feel like features such as this are so easy to add compared to new content, classes, etc. that MMO devs are just shooting themselves in the foot to not have it. It gets instant karma with MMO fans and at least gives the impression of meaningful player choice, which is better than nothing. It's not needed, but when adding it garners almost universal praise you might as well.

Now they are copying off of Rift to make customers happy. It makes sense, Blizzard is almost completely detached from consumer wants and needs. Good job, at least you did it finally, better late than never I suppose.

The only part about this I don't like is that you have to already own the gear to change your new stuff into it. I would love to have my gear looking like some of the older raid sets but are Impossible to get, otherwise I'd be wearing them all the time.

Man I can remember people pissing and moaning for this feature going all the way back to vanilla WoW. Almost makes me want to go back so I can play my Shaman in the tier 5 armor and not in the god damned skirt they keep putting on their tier gear. (it works well for an ele or resto shaman but I fail to see the level badass it lends to an enhancement shaman)

If you think ele shaman lose badass in a skirt, try being a ret pally. Jebus, those plate skirts are stupid!
