Personally I'm glad they aren't letting people away with reskinning to Legendaries unless you owned them.

My Mage is gonna be walking around with a certain no longer atainable legendary...And Imma enjoy it!

Its shit like this that pisses me off...

Not that this Transmogrifying is a bad thing, its that they are just now putting it in!

Really, as much as I hate Wow, and who much better and happier I was once I finally quit, this is almost enough to pull me back in... cept for the fact other games did it first...

I hope they keep digging for gimics, because that's what this is, to keep themselves afloat. They are desperate to stop losing subscriptions and now they're turning to shit that really doesn't make a difference in the game.

Finally. Took them *this* long to implement this? Players can finally have some-sort of identity and old skins which artists worked very hard on can be used actively.

Shame I've quit WoW and plan to never return. God damn you Blizzard.

Pretty sure this was just added in as another goldsink to balance out the economy, albeit a very clever one.

Hellyea! Got my dungeon 2.5 armor for mage. I'll look badass! Now I have to sacrifice dps to go frost, just so that I can match my hydromancer set.

Just hope it's not restricted to what items are eligible. If it's only tier->tier I'll go to the headquarters and use ring of frost on the whole building.

Should have been in the game years ago. Something I always hated when I played WoW; some of the best armour looked shit.
Oh, god yes. I hated running around as a rainbow in TBC, though I guess it did beat the monotony of the armour you got in Wrath / Cataclysm.

I think its also worth mentioning that 4.3 is the last patch of this expansions , as in the deathwing fight
Actually, Deathwing isn't the big baddy. Consider him a not so false antagonist, after all the yapping about his masters.

The final encounter is likely to be another Old God, as they've corrupted the dragon aspect of Earth.

N'zoth will likely be our final raid.

There's two ways I would prefer this done opposite to the way they said they are doing it.

1: Do it Terraria style, with Social armor slots that give you none of the bonuses, but make it look like you are wearing that item.

2: Do it DCUOnline style, where you collect armor "styles" as you gain pieces of armor, each piece of armor unlocking the style for that particular armor slot.

And just as I quit my warrior with full T6 and warglaives, my favorite set ever. This is pretty much a reason to come back... but I don't think I will. Damn, would have been awesome rocking that set again with modern stats.

Of course, about two patches AFTER I quit they add this feature. I can only imagine how much people are going to be farming old raids for all that armor. Within a few months every paladin is going to be walking around wearing the old Judgement set.

That would actually be really funny to watch now that I think about it. There are going to be 25 man MC raids consisting entirely of Paladins, all of them arguing over who gets the drops.
Why would there be 25 mans of Vanilla and BC content...people have been soloing that stuff since 80.

Veterans and roleplayers have been asking for a feature like this since about 2008 when it was introduced in both LOTRO and WAR, Blizzard always turned a blind eye.

They must have lost quite a bit of subscriptions to start catering even to those players. Until now they've been Blizzard's lowest priority.

Anyway - too little, too late.

It took them HOW long to implement an aesthetics feature? I didn't even start playing WoW until 2008, and the MMO that had been occupying my time since '06 already had this. And NOW an aesthetics feature kicks in a year after I quit. Well, doesn't surprise me how low priority it is when serious raiders are migrating to RP servers and then bashing on the RPers... on an RP server.

This looks pretty cool ... almost makes me wanna pick up WoW again. Almost ... a little ... okay, not really.
