Fucking what?

And some random Muslims who *didn't* do that. And some random Sikhs who didn't do that.
Or if the natural disaster is a virus.
Well i never said that the fighting attention was always well placed.

Also the virus was man made so....i dunno.

Things are weird when your "enemy" is faceless and invisible. People dont do well with that kind of thing.

Look my analogy aint perfect but i think i my point still comes across. Disagree if you want and thats fine Fite me :)

A lot of people in New Orleans would dispute the idea that everyone was struggling together during Katrina, for example.

Now, it is true that big and scary threats brings communities together, but who counts as part of the community and who does not is another matter altogether.

Oh hey, I just saw a video in which Glenn Beck compares rightwing extremists getting kicked off of social media to jews being put in ghettos.

So like, no self reflecting from this crowd at all, huh? Shocker.

Man Conservatives are eternal victims. It's always someone else ruining their lives and reputations. As much as they love to complain about the "Oppression Olympics", they're damn good at participating themselves. Witness the "War on Christmas" that pops up every so often, where people get super fucking butthurt because someone told them "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas" anytime after Halloween.

It's weird, because I'd say England is very nationalist (and inexplicably proud) right now, and yet our social bonds are minimal. Just look at our COVID attitude to each other -- it's all 'I'm alright Jack.' Sure, there's been some real stand-up people going above and beyond to help others, but they're few and far between. Seriously protests outside a hospital!
English nationalism is currently of an unhealthy tone: insecure, bitter, unhappy, irritable, and self-destructive. It's like a child playing football in the park who storms off when the game doesn't go his way and thinks that's everyone else's loss.

Oh come, haven't you heard their call for unity? They just want the country to come together and unite... now that they could possibly be held accountable for treason. (They won't ofcourse, but I'll take just watching them sweat for a bit.)

And always pretending they aren't able to say the things they are saying, which would have seemed to be a tad obviously wrong.

I saw a video of Lauren Boebert, one of the GOP reps, with a mask that said 'censored' while being allowed to speak her b.s. in Congress. They're just pulling the strings on that victim hoodie so tight now.

It feels like The English are only happy if there's someone worse off than they are, who they can feel superior to. It's very draining not knowing if I'm letting out a nice person in traffic or one of The English. Not that I'm spending much time in traffic these days.

I mean playing the victim is the "in" thing to do right now. How long did you think the left was gonna let the right have all the fun with those cards?

No

The defense as always been 'you throw around the term Nazis too much' since 1946. It's a nice way to deflect from discussing whether something is a Nazi or not. It is weak defense that means nothing
So I gave this one almost a week.
A near full week before replying.

You know why?
To see if anyone would prove you right.
I set up a little argument trap in this thread, if you were right people would have avoided the trap. If I was right people wouldn't notice and would prove my point.
Well it's been a week and so far lots of people fell into the trap without realising and I'd say the multiple people who fell for it helped prove you wrong. People are throwing round the term Nazi too much because I was just able to paint some-one, who hasn't ever really been pro Trump and hasn't had the kind of claims of him being a Nazi etc levelled at him, as a Nazi to be targeted.

Funny how I have people calling me out over small phrases or pushing me to defend certain positions while not presenting evidence of their own yet people were perfectly fine not calling me out on what should have been an obvious bit of hyperbole.

Oh. So you’re just trolling everyone

Just trolling to get those libs. Out to get all of us.

Yep. You sure won that argument. /s Okay symbols all around I guess

Also, none of this proves anything about this starting back 80 years ago.

Well, if you say "lol" like every other sentence you win by default. That's how debate works, right?

RIGHT?

It was mentioned three times in that period, twice in direct response to the quote, and once in a broad statement. Nobody called anyone a nazi since that post.

Was this lie banking on just nobody reading 2 pages to check? Lazy.

Except no-one did call out that bit I put out. No-one was willing to suggest who I named shouldn't be considered a Nazi.

If you want to claim people did feel free to quote them calling me out because we've had about the past 2 pages not about that. You won't though, you're just projecting your position of hoping people will blindly believe you and not check.

Oh. So you’re just trolling everyone
No just proving an argument rather effectively

Just trolling to get those libs. Out to get all of us.
Or you know actually manage to prove a point rather effectively.

Yep. You sure won that argument. /s Okay symbols all around I guess

Oh it proves it for the modern day which is after all where we live.

So.. your point is that everyone ignored your hyperbole and continued the conversations in completely different directions than you were trying to steer?

Needy and lazy!

Nope, people were more than happy to accept said thing and accept that as part of what would be deemed the Nazis to go after now.
