Ugh.. Yes, better than EA and Activision indeed, but I would've liked to see Take2 make a bid instead. Valve is probably way too much to hope for, since they've always done their own thing.

Of the three big publishers, EA, Activision, and Ubisoft, I honestly would rather Ubisoft get them. At least Ubisoft wants to try and release new IP every now and again, and they did do a nice job with current IP like bringing back Rayman, when they wern't busy with those stupid Rabids.

See, this is my thought process, but I would still rather chew glass than let ubisoft near THQ and my beloved franchises. They did fix Rayman but quite frankly, they fuck up so much else and I may actually tear up if they ruined metro or saints row<I liked 2 & 3, both deserve love>.

Guys ubisoft isn't evil, honestly I think they'd let THQ do it's own thing.

It could be that they're just considering lending a helping hand.
Besides, with Assassin's Creed, Splinter Cell, Prince of Persia, and (soon to be added) Watch_Dogs I don't think this is a bad thing compared to maybe EA.

With Ubisoft, EA or Activision we can expect Relic torn apart and assigned to some annualised franchise with Saints Row and maybe Darksiders the only games to remain but stripped way back and put on a yearly release schedule. We can also expect intolerable DRM from either Ubisoft or EA.

I'd kinda rather never see DoW 3 or CoH 2 than have Activision, EA or Ubisoft acquire Relic. Unless they take a complete hands off stance from Relic and let them do their thing and none of those pubs have shown any true understanding of the PC market. That said Ubisoft did improve with Rayman so if they keep that attitude up it wouldn't be too bad.

clearly you don't understand! RTS should be console first, and then ported to a PC, after all who really needs a good UI? or M&K, you just need 2 unit, in close up mode. with every other unit brought as DLC

Relic i think can lose the DOW license at anytime, and if it looks like a game will be truly shit, and sully the DOW name, i expect wargaming will pull the licence faster then you can blink

On the other hand I've been seeing their older games showing up on GOG. Worst case is we have to wait a while till Ubi's bullshit goes away.
