I would have to agree. to gain the necessary altitude for the Scrams to work you would need normal engines then once at the proper altitude the Scrams would kick in and Woosh it go's like a Mother!!

Thanks. This got to me as well. People keep forgetting what UFO means, and think that it has to come from somewhere that isn't Earth to be one.

a falling satilite doesnt move horizontally for that amount of time then some how stop, ACCELERATES, and moves in a completely different direction. no known craft or missle can do that.

Isn't the Harrier supposed to be able to do that? and I'm fairly sure that a helicopter can move horizontally, stop, and start moving again.

OH MY ACTUAL GOD!! when i was 10 i saw something like that in britain, it was zig-zagging left and right with a star-dusty trail of a brilliant white. then it shot off over to the sea leaving the trail for about 30 seconds... it was heading towards france.

Edit: Also, saying it was a falling satellite or something would also only work on people who haven't got a clue how gravity works on objects without a method of self-propulsion.

For those who didn't notice, that was an asteroid catching fire as it entered Earth's atmosfere, dissipating some time later because of the heat it took.

It couldn't have possibly been an UFO since it shone so much. The most important part of observation is discretion.

If it really is aliens, would they just give us the secret to perfecting inter-planetary travel already, damnit!? It's probably just some spoiled alien teenagers in their parents' new luxury saucer, cruising around the solar system, panicking us simple life-forms.
