mabie chinas completed the design of a scram jet and are testing it
I would have to agree. to gain the necessary altitude for the Scrams to work you would need normal engines then once at the proper altitude the Scrams would kick in and Woosh it go's like a Mother!!

wait how does "allegedly belived to be a ufo" make sense if it flies and no one knows what it is than its a ufo???
Thanks. This got to me as well. People keep forgetting what UFO means, and think that it has to come from somewhere that isn't Earth to be one.

a falling satilite doesnt move horizontally for that amount of time then some how stop, ACCELERATES, and moves in a completely different direction. no known craft or missle can do that.
Isn't the Harrier supposed to be able to do that? and I'm fairly sure that a helicopter can move horizontally, stop, and start moving again.

Neither craft does that after a free fall from space.

Didn't see anything in the OP about it coming in from space. It just says that it was in the sky.

I thought the Chinese where writing this off as a fallen satellite or something.

This was also in the OP:
The official statement right now is that it was a Chinese military experiment but "no details are permitted at this time."
Edit: Also, saying it was a falling satellite or something would also only work on people who haven't got a clue how gravity works on objects without a method of self-propulsion.

For those who didn't notice, that was an asteroid catching fire as it entered Earth's atmosfere, dissipating some time later because of the heat it took.

It couldn't have possibly been an UFO since it shone so much. The most important part of observation is discretion.

If we are actually dealing with aliens, they are retards.

Meh, some sort of terrestrial experiment gone wrong or maybe something falling out of orbit. I go for the former though.

Although I personally think that there are other life-forms out there, I don't see the point in them showing up on a planet that is less evolved or whatever.

Hey, they could be tourist... Or just like screwing with humans...

The shape of that reminds me of a sperm cell,no joke.

This reminds of a similar thing that happened in Moscow around a year back, that incident just kind of went away...
EVERYTHING is covered up in Russia!

Although, it does look very suspicious. *Dons a tinfoil hat*

Hell, if you had inter-planetary/inter-galactic travel wouldn't you like the fuck with lower lifeforms?

You sure? Because I'm suddenly feeling the strange urge to get on the floor and start doing crunches...

I have a tendency to not believe things like this however it will be awesome if it really is a UFO. As long as they're peaceful.
It was a UFO, Unidentified Flying Object. And it seemed friendly... it didn't fall on anybody. Well, if you believe that it is indeed an object.

If it really is aliens, would they just give us the secret to perfecting inter-planetary travel already, damnit!? It's probably just some spoiled alien teenagers in their parents' new luxury saucer, cruising around the solar system, panicking us simple life-forms.

Seriously though, it probably is just some secret aircraft prototype or something. I know people are going to say "Well if that's all it is, why are they being so secretive about it?", well maybe because it's a classified military prototype?
Do you have any link for footage of that? Would love to see it, thanks.

OT:
I already voiced my skepticism in the other thread. I don't think this is an alien U.F.O. It's definitely a U.F.O. at this point, given that it's an Unidentified Flying Object, you know?

Not alien, though. I wouldn't think so at all.
