He will be missed. The king of pop. A man with personality, unlike the commercial morons, who run the music industry today.
Even if you didn't like him, keep it to yourself and show some respect.

Rest in Peace.

He went down the gutter after Thriller. I heard he was on medication to calm himself for the upcoming tour. An OD maybe? He died in hotel room he was renting out not at his home.

Unfortunately, he's dead.

Now wait 14 seconds...

Another person just died.
Really, someone dieing isn't too crazy regardless of their abilities. He was old, and he died.
He was 50 for fuck's sake. That's old?

Good, could that kid admit that he was raped now?

Any speculation on the reasons for his cardiac rest? I speculate he overdosed on Jesus Juice.
Guys, regardless of what he did (cause we all know he did) and regardless of the myriad of jokes we could say, a little respect for the dead, please? I wasn't his biggest fan either but come on...
That's fair. It's certainly worth recognizing his huge contribution to the music world.

Top 5 Michael Jackson songs:

1. Don't stop til you get enough
2. Gonna be starting something
3. Billy Jean
4. Man in the mirror
5. Beat it
No, not really... Hitler pioneered the idea of interstate roads (autobahn), but I don't think he deserves any credit b/c he murdered 6 million Jews and thousands of Allied and Axis troops. So if you molest a child, I don't think your "contributions" should mean a thing, and in his case he got his punishment a bit late..
Yeah, I pretty much agree. And to me, I never heard Michael Jackson's songs the first time around - frankly, I don't see why he gets a free ride whilst anyone else who was accused of what he was accused of would have their house fire bombed.

The man had no childhood, and his adulthood was his second childhood. While he may or may not have had any form of sexual conduct with a child, it was not the act of a sane, rational man; and certainly not a criminal act. This was a man manipulated by the media from a very young age, a fundamentally "broken" individual who didn't and will never fit into the society of the the time he was born, lived, and died in.

I hope with time more people come to understand and respect that. Even if he did perform acts that would sicken almost anyone, they were not the actions of a normal or sane man.

He certainly did not be deserve to be firebombed for the mere accusation of such acts. No thought is a crime, and neither is being accused.

Think, people, think.

I can blame Michael Jackson for my Pepsi addiction. I somehow got involved in his Pepsi advertisement campaign way back when; exact extent fuzzy as I was unfamiliar with Twitter updating as a kid of the 80s. After some dancing, being an extra on a TV ad, or whatever the hell I did that my parents make reference to but never fully disclose, I came home with a lot of Pepsi and have been drinking that stuff over Coke to this day.

Here's a tribute to the greatest moonwalker ever.
And a nod to that other kid who also went by the name Michael Jackson, who must have been this white Michael Jackson's main inspiration (Haven't seen that somewhat darker curly-haired kid since 1986 though, think he must have died as well).

Let's hope he doesn't turn into another Elvis.

*Demonstrates conclusively that Evlis is dead*

Uhm... Now that you think about it... how did they notice he's dead? I mean, he was pale already.

I didn't care about him that much except for some of his songs, but I feel a little weird since he died. It's more about a remembering your own mortality thing (I've been spared from big losses so far).

Well this is a great way to start the morning for me!

Damn, this sucks big time. I don't care what you think or say about Jackson, he was the King of Freakin' Pop back in the days!

Though I wonder how this will affect the rumoured Michael Jackson game?

Well, ofcourse all my condolences to all his family and friends...did he have many of those actually? I thought he was practically a hermit.
Anyway, the King of Pop died ages ago, MJ was only a shadow of what he once was. It may sound horrible, but I personally couldn't care less, the old Micheal Jackson is long dead already. I guess my mum's record of Thriller (the LP) will start to rise in value now, better hold on to it.

People die every 5 seconds, why should everyone go into an uproar over a musician?! People say he was a cultural icon, but I honestly am not that bothered over his death. Shit happens... I mean, did any of us ACTUALLY know him?
