Man, all y'all "meh, don't care" folks are cold. Does it make you feel cool or something to be so almost aggressively apathetic?

Top 5 Michael Jackson songs:

1. Don't stop til you get enough
2. Gonna be starting something
3. Billy Jean
4. Man in the mirror
5. Beat it
Wait, where are Thriller and Smooth Criminal?

I genuinely didn't think I would, but I actually feel bad. I've always seen Michael Jackson as two people, the cool, good looking black guy that sung great music, and the sad, mentally ill man who wanted to be like Peter Pan and be young forever. Both died today, and both will live forever.

R.I.P.

EDIT - that's unusually poetic. Sorry everyone. I'll get back to calling everyone cunts shortly.
Thats pretty much exactly what I was trying to find a way to say, but just..worded better than I could have possibly come up with. Thanks for saying whats on a lot of people's minds.

I never believed he was exactly the child molesting predator that a lot of people think he was, I think he just had a lot of mental problems and didn't see the world in the same way that everyone else does.... maybe now at least he will be at peace.

That's...sad, actually. He made really good music, and was one of the better performers in the world, regardless of his being tremendously off-center the past fifteen or so years. He will be missed.

Sweet Jesus. The dream is dead. How can we go on when the man that taught us so much can teach no longer. Oh, woe is me.

I literally just heard this not even 5 minutes ago on the news. Why something like this is news I'll never know
Because the man pretty much made Pop what it is today?
Pop today is a shitty prep version of rap, which is shitty in itself so that's not much of an accomplishment.

Not really. My first thought was to wonder if this was the harbinger of the surprisingly limber dancing zombie apocalypse when I heard.

He was my hero when I was young.
Then my little sister went and got a Michael Jackson action figure, which had terrifying dead eyes and sang when you pressed it's stomach.

That thing terrified me.

But still........ It's odd, you just never expect people like MJ to actually be capable of dying. Even now I am half expecting it to all be a publicity stunt, or like someone else said earlier, for him to rise up out of the grave singing Thriller when they try to bury him.

Nomatter how batshit insane he went in his later years, the man was and always will be an absolute legend. RIP you crazy, crazy weirdo. The world just will not be the same.
