All the people saying they don't care, keep it to yourselves.
Yes, people die all the time and you can't be expected to care, and I'm not saying Micheal Jackson is special but he was still a person, and I'm gonna hate myself for saying this but show some respect. You don't have to care but y'know... fuck off. Nobody cares that you don't care.
I myself am still stunned to hell and back... MJ isn't someone who you could imagine dieing.
I have to agree with you. Seeing people that claim they don't give a fuck that he died, the rest of us don't give a damn if you feel apathetic over a cultural icon's death. Yeah, his past was kinda eh, but the man could make some damn good music. Has any album ever topped his "Thriller" album? How many artists are known WORLDWIDE? Not everyone knows or gives a damn about Christian Aguleria. She's not a "household" name. You say the initials "MJ" and 90% of the time, people would know it was Michael Jackson.

Yes, people die everyday. Sucks that everyone's death isn't announced and projected all over the world like a celebrity. But that's the different from the common person and a celebrity. If you want your death publicized, become a celebrity. Til then, STFU and give the man some respect.

Rest in peace the King of Pop.
I have to say; this might be the most level-headed post in this thread.
True that, true that...
he made damn good songs. Remember him before he had the plastic surgery, remember the good Michael Jackson.

Heres the thing, a man who was used by his father as a meal ticket had his chiildhood stolen by the same abusive bastard. When later michael came into a bit of money he decided to relive the childhood he never had when he was the right age.

So then came the allegations of child abuse, would you accuse someone of being a peadophile if they at eight years old have a sleep over with another eight year old as given Jacksons mental age equivilence that is what all the people having a go at him are doing. He wasnt sane by any definition of the word.

But he did create some massive genre spanning music, a pop musician who utilised both Eddie Van Halen and Slash as session musicians clearly deserves the respect of anyone.

And before anyone says it I know Quincy Jones produced those tracks but it was good old Mike who said yes to his ideas!

RIP King of Pop

Thank you for your compliment. It's a more realistic way of putting it into the perspective of any celebrity. They get put all over the news because they were all over the news/radio/internet/CD. You'd want the same recognition as anyone else, right? I know I'd sure as hell want the world to know if I died if I'm a celebrity. They are hard working people. They hafta to stay in the hearts, ears and minds of us all to keep a paycheck.

Too young to give even the tiniest modicum of colloquialistic excrement.
Colloquialistic not even being a word, I think I should reprimand you for your attempt to be clever. You're not fucking clever, you silly ****.
Is it not? I was under the impression that it would be colloquialism to call something "shit" and therefore one would say that if one were to use a colloquialism equivalent to the word excrement that that would indicate that I meant "shit" without saying "shit". Colloquialistic (like a colloquialism) may or may not be a word, but I believe the meaning was relatively clear to even people who don't enjoy playing with words for the fun of it as I do.
And I still don't care that he is dead.

Personally, I'm more upset about Farrah Fawcett dying overnight then I am about Michael Jackson. Then again, Farrah Fawcett didn't scare some small children by doing horrible things to them. It's unfortunate that Michael died at 50, it isn't at all old. But in my eyes, it's not big loss.

And all we have to remeber him by is a few mediocre Pop songs, His Neverland ranch, and his lawsuit.
Learn you music history. Greatest selling album ever, and you think it's mediocre?
**** off troll.
Wait so I'm a troll for not liking his music. I'm sorry that you find me offensive and ingorant just becuase I'm diffrent and do not have the same opinon. Please I'm still greaving over John Lennon and George Harrison's death. I have no time left to grieve for him but I will spare him a rose on his grave.

You probably want 'colloquial' In general it's shorter words that are elegant, otherwise you are at high risk of malapropisms.

I don't care that he's dead, unless you count that I care that my friends care that he is dead, in which case I care that he is dead.

*snip* (sorry for off topic)
But I enjoy making what I say sound as broken as possible while still making sense, not to make it sound elegant :p.

Good, could that kid admit that he was raped now?

Any speculation on the reasons for his cardiac rest? I speculate he overdosed on Jesus Juice.
Guys, regardless of what he did (cause we all know he did) and regardless of the myriad of jokes we could say, a little respect for the dead, please? I wasn't his biggest fan either but come on...
That's fair. It's certainly worth recognizing his huge contribution to the music world.

Top 5 Michael Jackson songs:

1. Don't stop til you get enough
2. Gonna be starting something
3. Billy Jean
4. Man in the mirror
5. Beat it
No, not really... Hitler pioneered the idea of interstate roads (autobahn), but I don't think he deserves any credit b/c he murdered 6 million Jews and thousands of Allied and Axis troops. So if you molest a child, I don't think your "contributions" should mean a thing, and in his case he got his punishment a bit late..
Sup, Godwin's Law.

And this is a sad thing. Say what you will about Michael Jackson, but he had some pretty great songs, and was a very successful man. You can't take that away.

Well, this definitely shook me up a tad when I saw the news announce his death. There isn't really much to say. Michael Jackson's music was, and still is, amazing. From Thriller and Smooth Criminal, with their amazing music videos and upbeat grooves, to Man In The Mirror, one of my favorite songs, and ABC, which is sweet, he definitely was very talented.
Was he messed up in the head- Probably so.
Did he do some bad things regarding a minor- Honestly, I don't know, and I don't care. I'm not judging him now that he is dead.

So, in conclusion, rest in peace Michael Jackson, and may you be wherever Elvis, Buddy Holly, and John Lennon are...rocking out.

Its cool to not care.

But Michael Jacksons music was fucking awesome and seeing how he was never found guilty of being a Pedo its still just speculation.

So I feel kind of sad.
