More like:

"When they touch down, we'll blow the roof, they'll spend a month sifting through rubble, and by the time they figure out what went wrong, we'll be sitting on a beach, earning twenty percent."

Bonus points if you don't need his accent to picture the great man who said that.
Took me a second, but I got it. It's been a while since I've watched Die Hard.

WTF is Zynga?

Facebook games. I'm shocked you're here and missed the drama. Those Facebook games are apparently better than Grand Theft Auto, Call of Duty, and all of the Final Fantasies combined.

Awesome avatar. Love that show.
OT: Yeah. Go Valve. Will Zynga be retunrning next year? If so, we must all band together first round and just destroy them. We must be prepared, before Zynga can unite the masses on facebook. Oh, and it looks like Valve is 'still alive'. Oh no he didn't Yes, Onyx, he did.

I voted for Bioware myself, but Valve is still one of the best devolopers out there, so I am happy. As long as the evil known as Zynga lost.

Valve used the same tacitics this year as Turbine did last year, but there has not been one post saying Valve cheated.

Yet there were still members saying Turbine cheated last year and drawing a clear distinction between forum ads and a launcher ad (at the begining of this years MM).

Can some elements of the Escapists finally stop piling the hate on Turbine?
I don't think Valve actually used Steam to rally votes for the final round, unless you're talking about when they were against Zynga. In the case of Zynga then, I don't think anyone would've mind as long as Zynga was going to lose. I agree though, the forum could stop hating on Turbine.

Atranis said:
That plan can backfire. What if in the next one we're unable to rally enough support in time to counter Zynga and then they (god forbid) actually win??
Not trying to be pessimistic here....oh, wait, gahh I am being pessimistic, but I'm just trying to show the different possibilities! :(

OT: I voted for Valve so yay Valve!
Then we are truly screwed in that case.....

On Topic: 50.3% - 49.7% is awfully close, both developers deserved to win in my opinion.

bioware should have won. valve only released one game last year and bioware released two great games.
It was pretty obvious valve was going to win. As I said before.

It was FPS ( A large genre)
Vs
RPG (A smaller genre)

at that, it was also
Mostly Multiplayer hits
vs
Mostly Single Player Hits

So it was NO suprise that valve won, the ONLY suprise is that bioware got as many votes as it did.
no, it wasnt a surprise. the only surprise is that you expect people to take you seriously with that picture. i totally forgot the point i was going to make because you look so retarded
Actually, that pic is Nostalgia critic trying to guess the gender of an androgynous GIRL on the show "You can't do that on television".

But against the makers of ...[snip]...Team Fortress?
WRONG! Team Fortress was bought by them, not made by them.
I was referring to Team Fortress 2.

My mistake.
LOL I was more saying Team Fortress 2 wasn't originally their IP, so they shouldn't get credit for as much making it, as editing it. (Which they did a damn good job of)
Same goes for counter strike XD

Badge is mine? Well done Valve, and good fight Bioware! I would have been happy if either had won.

I dont care as long as Zynga didn't win. They have no place among the companies that make true videogames.

Both companies, Valve and Bioware, should be rewarded with a life time supply of freshly baked cookies :)

Zynga didn't win, so all gamers are the true winners.

Great match-up though, I was getting sick of landslide victories. Also, mods...please only allow legitimate game developers into this, no more Zynga bullshit.

I was rooting for BioWare, but Valve was just as deserving, so kudos to them! Things were close, right until the end, so that kept us on the edge of our seats! And thanks to all of the staff for holding this event for us!

The competitive respect was obvious as congratulations from both sides of community were heard on our forums.
And that's what made this final showdown so very awesome.

This was pretty epic. Both are great developers. I have to ask though: what happened with the Twitter votes? When I last visited the match topic, I think the developers were about 180 votes apart, so I can imagine 159 votes happening just with internet votes. So, are the Twitter votes already added (probably yes) and is their a way to see their breakdown?

I HAVE BROKEN FREE OF THE HYPNO TOAD!!
HAHAHA! FOOL! My many hours of playing that game has made me IMPERVIOUS to Navi's "HEY!" and "LISTEN!"
I must be a grandmaster, because I sat, watched, and listened through that whole video. I can endure any possible annoyance the Hypno Toad can muster.

I could have sworn I picked for Valve during the whole line up thing but all I got was the badge for voting all the way through...

Anyways, congrats to Valve and Bioware for making it to the finale showdown!
In isn't hard to find out who you picked to win, just check the bracket out, that you filled out before the whole tournament started.
