Seeing the robot charge up its electric attack, Ella ducked and changed her swing to go down vertically, to cut the robot's arms off. She followed it up with a horizontal cut as she stood up and was already in motion towards the other robot.

The ETR squad was professional, and while they were temporarily distracted their helmets protected them from the worst effects of the flash-bang. The heavy gunner and the Lt. opened fire with stun bolts when Vyse rushed towards them. If she made it past their gauntlet, the sniper and medic stood by Black. The two were knocked down by the quick assault, but the medic's sturdy chestplate kept her in the fight and she fired a spray of bullets towards her.

Near Hotel, Pointe Saint-Charles, Montreal. Midnight. March 5th​

The robot having their arms cut off was rendered useless. Unable to do anything else, it tried to dash away from the follow-up attack, but failed, and was cut in half.

Being in close proximity to the portal upon entering, the second robot had already moved through by the time Ella destroyed the first robot, Green's lower legs sticking out of it.

Twenty seconds after having activated, the device generating the force field would turn off. After this, it ignited, and began to melt.

The portal Red formed lead to what would seem very much like a mortuary; A large, clinically white room, with four stainless steel tables present, slightly elevated on end end, and having a sink at the other. Surgery lamps hung above these. At the far end of the room was a wall with freezers build into it, to house bodies, and the other end, two steel doors. The portal sat in-between these two ends, a little closer to the doors, as the portal that was created by those present was closer to the freezers.

Present in the room, were two figures. One, an armoured human figure, very much like the one that was put to sleep, back on Earth, but with a small computer build into the bracer they currently held up, and a holstered pistol on their right leg. The second, a vaguely humanoid, six-limbed figure, dark orange-pink skin, small orange eyes set in sunken sockets, wearing a medical labcoat, tailored to their body.

Seeing the second portal open, the agent hit a button on the bracer, shutting the portal down, although Ella might be able to jump through, just before it happened. Either way, with the portal closing with Green not fully through, the body's legs were severed, between the calves, and ankles.

Once the portal was closed, the armoured figure drew their pistol, and aimed it at Ella, if present, or otherwise, Red's portal. The alien, meanwhile, began moving towards a button on the wall.

Not expecting the ETR team to have helmets that allowed them to see in the absolute darkness of the smokescreen, 'Vyse' was immediately thrown off by their quick response at pinpointing her position.

Vyse was struck dead on by the stun bolts. A pair of yellow-colored, almond-shaped lights appeared on what could roughly be estimated to be Vyse's head, but otherwise the bolts seemed to have had no effect. The barrage of bullets from the medic struck Vyse, creating a spray of blood as she fell over and landed on her back.

Basketball Court, Pointe Saint-Charles, Montreal. Afternoon. March 4th​

Kuki listened to Shana's further explanation curiously, cocking their head as they went over the facts, their train of thoughts disturbed once by an itch they scratched with a hind leg. Once Shana finished the explanation, Kuki had another question lined up for her.

"So, once the fusion reaction is started, how do you terminate it? I assume the freed particles would be absorbed in another one of these gels?"

Alleyway, Pointe Saint-Charles, Montreal. Midnight. March 5th​

As Shana collapsed, Kuki squeezed their eyes shut, keeping themselves from rolling out of the satchel by digging their claws into the material. They let out a silent groan as they were rocked about, squeezing their eyes shut, and staying that way for a moment until after Shana had gotten back up.

"... Are you okay? What happened?"

Kuki asked, frightened.

 

[Kirke]

"Does anybody have visual? On anything?" - The Lt. asked, and the squad replied in the negative. The medic said; "Something knocked me down, but I think I hit it. I can't confirm though, I'm as blind as a bat." The sniper groaned; "Damn, that one hurt. I was knocked down as well."

Caught up in the moment, Ella forgot her training and rushed through the portal, cutting down the other robot as she got to the other side. Then she just kept moving, charging at the armoured figure to try and tackle him. She was a scary sight, a madwoman absolutely covered in blood aside from the shining steel of her sword.

All of Dalahars organs had ceased save one. A biological fail safe designed to make the legion astartes attrition rates low when casualties are recovered. When suffering a mortal wound or excessive trauma, one that is too much for even their gene forged anatomy and formidable armour, Legiones astartes have an organ that shuts their body down and suspends it in stasis. Even marines who lost limbs, had huge holes bunched through them or were even cut completely in half would more often than not be still alive albeit in a state of stasis, until either the damage to their bodies kills them, they are recovered by the Medicae Corp or overcome their injuries.

Dalahar was physically alright, but the effect of Kyrys on his soul for so long had burned out his will. His body, simply shut down until he had the strength to move again.

Red moved quickly, a lot faster than anyone had the right to be. She stepped through the portal and breathed a blue flame in between Ella and the armoured figure, while she was tackling him.

Both of them would feel heat, but would be completely unharmed. The pistol however started melting, making it impossible to shoot Ella.

At the same time, Red seemed to inflame. The alien could feel the heat, making it uncomfortable to move closer. After she had breathed the flame, Red said to the alien: [color=e50000]"Freeze. Don't move."[/color]

The armoured figured was about to open fire at Ella, when Red rushed through the portal, and breathed out the fire jet. At this, he let out a yelp, and rush backwards.

The alien looked over their shoulder as they heard the noise of the fire, holding out a hand towards Ella as they moved. Casting a spell, a mark appeared on Ella's forehead, resembling an eye with a pin going through the pupil. At this, Ella was rendered blind. [footnote]This'll last three turns.[/footnote]

When Red called out, the alien stopped, and turned around, exhaling through their nostrils. "I suggest you don't do anything rash", they said, speaking with a masculine, somewhat raspy voice in the lower tenor range. "You wouldn't want to trigger a interdimensional incident, would you.", he added, speaking like stating a fact, rather than asking a question.

 

[Silence]

Red could not do much different than laugh out loud. [color=e50000]"If this isn't an interdimensional incident already, I don't know what is.
As far as I'm concerned, you stole the body of one of mine, so give it back, and no more incidents will happen to you after you've done this."[/color]

She looked at Ella and the armoured figure, ready to disarm anyone who tried to do more.

Some time previously​

The white phantom the police had arrested just vanished out of its cell. No trace was found. Knowing how the other soldiers had vanished, the police could assume this one had done the same, only after a time instead of at the point of death.

Around Midnight​

While Blue was sitting around, the spybot might notice a silhouette seemingly coming out of her and walking through the portal into the throne room. It was quite dark, but the silhouette looked like Blue as well.

 

[Kirke]

Ella crashed into the armoured figure, bringing them both to the ground with Ella on top of her opponent. She was then blinded, so she blindly grabbed at him and held her sword very near to her hand, uncomfortably close to the figure. Being so close to it, the figure might hear the sword hum disconcertingly. "What she said." - She grunted, before grovelling; "Blind or not I know you're there. Try anything and I'll cut something off!"

The figure gave no reaction to being toppled over. They were about to move their hands to try and throw Ella off, but laid still once the blade of the sword was placed near them, gritting their teeth behind their helmet.

"Regardless of what I might or might not be involved in, neither of you have any authority, here.
Now, should harm befall me here, well, it wouldn't shine a favourable light on the invading party", the alien stated. Clasping their hands behind their back, the alien looked through the portal Red made. They let out a cough, then back to Red. "Something to consider."

Noting the silhouette emerging from Blue, the spybot monitoring her began circling around her, after the silhouette walked off. The spybot monitoring the portal tried to see where the silhouette was going once it moved through, but didn't go through, itself.

 

[Silence]

[color=e50000]"Hmmm ... alright, I have considered it. Now, can I take back the body and the agent, or do you need to let me act in self-defense?
What are you trying to do here anyways?"[/color]

The silhouette moved around a corner in the throne room, then wouldn't be visible anymore.

 

[Kirke]

"You're ForeFront, aren't you? This seems like your MO. Lightning quick attacks to capture ED artefacts. What, have you started a body-snatcher department now?" - Ella said, clearly not holding ForeFront in high regard.

 

[Vakra jal]

Dalahar groaned slightly as his body slowly came back to lifeZ his two hearts began beating again and he drew breath for the first time in hours. Kyrys was so weak right now, it felt like a part of him was dead. He hadn't the energy to move yet, he was still shaking off the entropy that he felt.

Forefront facility, location unknown​

"You can only enact self-defence when attacked, my girl. I see none of this happening", the alien stated, then cocked his head towards the bisected robot. "If anything, I would be in the right to retaliate, myself. But, I am willing to overlook this property damage." Keeping a straight face all the while, the alien paused.

"Now, with everything cleared up; You may retrieve the body of your compatriot, on the condition that assets that remained on Realm 7382 are returned, first. Without further damage." When mentioning the realm, the alien unclasped his hands, and pointed towards the portal. "To ensure fair exchange on our part, the... third party present may remain here, and keep the gentleman on the floor at knifepoint."

The alien didn't comment on what he was doing, or any affiliation, although Ella was spot on.

The armoured figure wasn't particularly happy with the alien's proposal, and looked around, trying to come up with a way out of the situation.

Montreal Streets, Around Midnight

Since Yauna's magical vision did allow her to see in the pitch darkness, she saw the ETR team. And more specifically, she saw them shooting, in her general direction. She yelled out, loudly, "Stop!" The order was accompanied with the same type of magic she had used on Green, however this time it was more intense, and thus able to influence more people. Since the statement was very broad, if the spell worked the ETR team would find themselves unable to move, talk or shoot.

Forefront facility, location unknown​

[color=e50000]"Alright. This seems fair enough."[/color] Red said. [color=e50000]"You can open your portal, retrieve these things, and carry Green back. I don't look like I can carry much now, do I?"[/color]

 

[Kirke]

"The guy asleep back on Earth?" - Ella scoffed; "He'll be arrested for assaulting a peace officer. There's a whole squad of troopers there, so don't even think about trying anything. So what we'll do is this: As soon as I can see again, I'm carrying the body back through the portal. My acquaintance here will keep you boys in check until I get through, and she'll step through and close the portal."

The ETR squad freezed up, very confused about what was happening but welcoming the chance to take some rest. All except for the Lieutenant, who decided to simply start walking forwards until he could see again; We've got to get magical protection for our armour. Runes, or some shit like that. We could have been wearing tissue paper for all the good this crap did.

The alien was about to respond to Red, when Ella. They looked at her, frowning. They glanced through Red's portal, seeing the black smog still enveloping the ETR squad, and started to formulate a plan they could fall back on. "Very well. Agreed. Your sight should return... around now."
