and before someone says a salamander, remember that wooper's evolution, Quagsire, is a salamander.

joltik is a tick/spider hybrid, but I guess it gets a pass as a flea too.godfist88 said:

The only way Sudowoodo would work is if it was a bug type. Besides, even stick bugs look like bugs in some way. Sudowoodo looks only like a tree and has no bug characteristics.

Yea. It's called a Mudskipper. That or I could pull up pictures of an Axolotl and a Mudpuppy which also supposedly played into it's design. They don't look much closer OR better though.godfist88 said:
Also, Joltik is all sorts of weird. It's name implies tick...though some say it's a mite. And then obviously it's got a little jumping spider/tarantula in it like it's evolved form.
But no matter what the heck it is....it is quite possibly the most adorable thing I have ever seen in my life. Especially if you realize how tiny it is.
