IQ Tests are only good at measuring how good you are at IQ tests. Attributing a number to how well a person answers some pre-set questions doesn't impress me. Wisdom does. Wisdom isn't something any test can really measure, and it's not something you can gain by reading books or doing calculations.

But anyway, I'm gonna go ahead and take a rain check on this because frankly, it means little, and anyone who makes judgements on others based on how they score are simply doing it wrong.
wistom is just experence and if your iq is higher it will make more of the experince, lets go at it like maths (experence =age)
iq x age = wisdom so wistom / age = iq and so wistom / iq = age
/\
/W_\
/AxIQ\ (kinda like mass,desity,volume)

(well ,i just made this up now,out of nowhere :S)

I got 146 last time I did one, and that was when I was about 14 or so. 16, so maybe it's gone up a bit?

EDIT: Incase there's anybody who doesn't know and cares, I think 100 is the average and over 150 is considered genius.

What always amuses me with these online IQ tests is that everyone who takes them gets well over 100 IQ, where as in fact 100 is by definition the average.

Very fishy.

Over 140 is genius actually.

meh.
This test is bogus.
It is too easy.
My score was way to high.

On my last real(at MENSA) IQ-tests a few years back I got a 148 while drunk, and a week later 135 while sober...

So, even they are good for evaluating logical thinking on a scale, they're also known for not being reliable.

Besides, they're the "My dick is bigger than yours"-Game for (wannabe-)intellectuals. imho.

And you won't get any further in life with knowing your IQ/being a genius on some scale...
I'm a very good example for that(and for procrastination...). -.-

That's some very good reasoning, I bet you've a high IQ!

Very fishy indeed. They're all complete garbage, as anyone who knows anything about IQ testing or anything similar (e.g. various neuropsych tests) can tell you.

As an added bonus, even with real tests that are properly calibrated/validated and administered by a professional, the results for them are only directly comparable to other results from the same test, as different tests score differently. I had one done properly (along with other neuropsych stuff) back in high school to see what was/wasn't working right with my brain after a head injury and other crap, and I never even bothered finding out what the numerical result was because it's just not particularly useful. It was helpful in the context of the other tests being done and to see if I had anything weird going on in specific areas relative to my performance in others (which I luckily didn't), but beyond that, whatever.

I got something like 110-120 quite some time ago on some online IQ test. (So it might be utter bullshit.)

139.

I managed to get most of the results from a quick Google.

Shows what online IQ tests know.

Had to take a test a couple of years ago as part of an assessment to do with my Aspergers. My test score was 162.

When I did a test last, at the age of...8 I think, I got 86.
But then again, doing a test that was on TV doesn't really give you a decent result, I think.

Now mine is around the 129-135 range which is lower then when I was tested when I was 7 which really depresses me.

The only thing IQ tests actually test is your ability to do IQ tests. However, I took a professional one recently and got 162, but I still don't agree with them.

Last one I took gave me 126.
Fair enough. "Above average" is good enough for me.

I took an online one and got 130, but I really doubt its reliability.

Also, either everyone here is taking massively skewed IQ tests, or the Escapist is some sort of genius magnet.

IQ is an out dated way to test ones intelligence, it means nothing. But the last test I did was in the seventh grade and I got a 120.
