What is your IQ?

Oh I hate these sorts of questions; I always spend longer than I should thinking them through. Anyway I didn?t finish it in time, I chose 'I don?t know' for a fair few of them and I got 108. On other online IQ tests I?ve gotten 114 and 117.
I also agree it?s funny that most people who have taken it say they got well above the average. Maybe people with lower scores are less inclined to show them off. I also doubt the average is actually the average score people get on this particular IQ test.

122 for my age group, which is 15. Average for that age group is around 100, so I think I did okay.

These tests imply something as complex and volatile as human intelligence can be given a static value. That alone makes them fail from the get-go. I've taken a mensa version of this test several years ago and scored a 163. I mean I know the tests are meant to determine a person's capacity of memory, logic, perception and intuition and yet they neglect the factor people are different.
You can't believe an online test. In fact I don't believe anything anyone has posted here. No it's not that I myself have a low IQ like someone is bound to imply. It's that nobody seems to know what average is, and the inflated scores posted by so many seem to have people thinking average is around 120-130 (right below genius level, or less then 10% of the population) and say they have scores as high as 170. Less then 1% of the people in the world have IQ's higher then 135, but if you trust anonymous people online 147 is by far the most common IQ out there.

Why does everyone keep posting raw IQ scores here? There are dozens of tests with a huge range of scales. saying 'my IQ is 155' or 'above 160 is genius' is pointless, it's the percentiles that are comparable, and even so some people do better in some tests than others, never-mind the fact that scores can change wildly over time.
Besides, a high IQ doesn't make you a genius. proper genius is incredibly rare and it takes a special mix of original thought and inspiration, not a fast CPU.
Also, internet IQ tests are absolute bullshit.
