A wooden spear. It's fairly sharp so I guess I could poke the attackers eyes out...

Computer. Apply directly to the forehead!
It's actually a Mac, and so the power cable (annoyingly enough) actually detaches from the back of the computer if it's jerked away hard enough. I could easily rip it off into the face of anyone who would come up behind me and try and strangle me.

A pair of scissors, a dangerously sharp pencil, and some nail clippers.

I suppose I might be able to strangle someone with my headphone cord...

My body is always in my reach, no matter where i go. So, the deadliest thing within my reach is...me.

Heh, if you guys could only see where I'm sitting. Normally the answer for this would be "I don't know...a lamp?"

But this weekend I'm back at my Dad's house and sitting in what he affectionately calls "the bunker", the modified garage where he stores all the military helmets, guns and swords he collects. As well as the gun safe that contains his more modern guns and my rifle.

There's is literally more than a dozen swords I could grab without leaving my seat and probably 3-4 times that number around the room. Plus countless muskets and armour. To actually get my gun out of the safe would take a bit of effeort beause I can't remember where he hides the keys.

But yeah normally the answer would be a lamp or my hunting knife if I've taken it out from my car.

I got my friend. I'll throw him at the attacker to buy me time to unplug the heavey crsytal lamp next to me.

I'm not sure if I can join this thread, since I don't own my own copy of Reach.

Oh. You were just using title font. I guess a lamp, in that case.
