Unfortunately, a lot of people who are going to list holidays that they dont like personally as 'pointless' days. but earth day? MLK day?

when i think of truly pointless days, i think of Arbor Day and Flag Day. especially the latter...its a day where you wave the flag...assuming you were doing that anyway, and if you havent done it by now youre probably not going to for just one day.

Mothers Day: The day when all the children who worked in factories and the like were given a day off where they could go home and see their mothers. Since children don't work in factories anymore this is a bit irellevent. Which brings us on to...

Fathers Day: I mean, they've got mothers day, so why not? I mean how else are they going to sell those Football World Cup song compilation albums?

Valentines day: Why do you need a special day to show your love? If you have someone woulden't that be every day?

Easter: Since it became choclate day.

Halloween: It's not meant to be scary! It's the day that the ghosts of the dead can come to the living world to cheack upon their living relatives. I realy don't know how it turned into little kids wearing silly costumes askig for sweets(how have we manages to intergrate chocolate into everything).
