Neutral. Because I am Lord of Gives-Not-A-Fuck.

IMO I think I went with this too. Possibly Chaotic Good, though I'm probably a little too law abiding/self serving to really swing that direction.

Neutral good according to that test, which is how I previously saw myself. I'm surprised though, I did say many times that I would happily steal from thoe richer than me if I could escape the consequence!

Chaotic Neutral

A chaotic neutral character follows his whims. He is an individualist first and last. He values his own liberty but doesn?t strive to protect others? freedom. He avoids authority, resents restrictions, and challenges traditions. The chaotic neutral character does not intentionally disrupt organizations as part of a campaign of anarchy. To do so, he would have to be motivated either by good (and a desire to liberate others) or evil (and a desire to make those different from himself suffer). The common phrase for chaotic neutral is "true chaotic." Remember that the chaotic neutral character may be unpredictable, but his behavior is not totally random. He is not as likely to jump off a bridge as to cross it. Chaotic neutral is the best alignment you can be because it represents true freedom both from society?s restrictions and from a do-gooder?s zeal.

On paper, maybe... but I've always seen myself as chaotically good. I help others, even ay my own expence, but in most cases, I'll only do something if it benefits myself in some way.

Your Character?s Alignment

Based on your answers to the quiz, your character?s most likely alignment is Chaotic Evil.

Chaotic Evil

A chaotic evil character does whatever his greed, hatred, and lust for destruction drive him to do. He is hot-tempered, vicious, arbitrarily violent, and unpredictable. If simply out for whatever he can get, he is ruthless and brutal. If he is committed to the spread of evil and chaos, he is even worse. Thankfully, his plans are haphazard, and any groups he joins or forms are poorly organized. Typically, chaotic evil people can only be made to work together by force, and their leader lasts only as long as he can thwart attempts to topple or assassinate him. The demented sorcerer pursuing mad schemes of vengeance and havoc is chaotic evil. Chaotic evil is sometimes called "demonic" because demons are the epitome of chaotic evil. Chaotic evil is the most dangerous alignment because it represents the destruction not only of beauty and life but of the order on which beauty and life depend.

Lawful Good is probably the closest thing. It's always my strongest alignment, and it makes sense when I think about it. Preserving a sense of law and order is always my goal. Even in instances in which I bend/break the rules, I do so not secretly or for personal benefit, but openly, and to point out a flaw in the system so that the law/rule might be improved. Basically causing chaos with the express goal of imposing a new and improved order.

Even when I disagree with the law, I believe that a corrupt system is better than leaving things up to individuals. This is mainly because I believe that most people are too selfish, too stupid, or too morally bankrupt, and thus leaving things up to them, and thereby removing any semblance of government, would invariably lead to the destruction of all. I can not allow chaos to reign and will only circumvent law when there is simply no other way to accomplish a goal that I feel will be beneficial to society.

If a decision ever comes down to sticking by a friend or ensuring order, I unfortunately must always pick order. Dragon Age actually has a scenario that brings to light this conflict perfectly. Also, a job related conflict in which I had to fire my spouse for a rules violation comes to mind.

lawful neutral.
Order be praised.

although that sort of surprises me. must have been a close one to chaotic neutral ^^ though, then it'd be true neutral before that, right? if they scale it down with points or something

(which (TN), as an alignment doesn't make sense at all; balancing everything out means you'd have to do both good and evil things, both lawful and chaotic things, which actually is chaotic, regarding d&d canon. the ad&d definition actually made sense, though)

True Neutral. This pretty much holds up for me in real life. Not because I'm not at all altruistic but because I have an open mind and despise blindly following an ideal. I question everything within reason.

Neutral Evil

A neutral evil villain does whatever she can get away with. She is out for herself, pure and simple. She sheds no tears for those she kills, whether for profit, sport, or convenience. She has no love of order and holds no illusion that following laws, traditions, or codes would make her any better or more noble. On the other hand, she doesn?t have the restless nature or love of conflict that a chaotic evil villain has. The criminal who robs and murders to get what she wants is neutral evil. Some neutral evil villains hold up evil as an ideal, committing evil for its own sake.
Oh, sounds exactly like you...
This reminds me of all of the Final Fantasy nerd quizzes about "Which character are you" and all the nerds would answer accordingly just to get Sephiroth and pretend they are badass.
Seriously you trolled my post for this?
You'll note none of the questions are actually about murder, I simply copy and pasted, the result the quiz gave me.
