1: grab the crowbar in my bed (yes I actually HAVE one there AND it's for situations like this... I know I'm weird)
2: clear my house if there is any assuming my family is already dead.
3: grab my mums car keys because I know where they are.
4: get into my mums car, make it to my TA (territorial army to those non brits is a 'part time' army)
5: Lock and load with barricades all around and wait for backup or do as I'm told... possibly being killed/devoured later in a search party for food in a supermarket.
Why would your territorial Army let you do anything? You would probably be corralled into a barracks.
Nah my unit is totally cool, we'd just get guns out and have a competition of who can get more kills in a minute, or who gets the most headshots... etc. We have PARAs nearby if we need cannonfodder, but they'd probably be able to take any zombies with their bare hands so I'd be totally safe.
Ah. so you are in the TA then? If something major happened, you would be called upto do crowd control, and humanitarian aid.

If anyone else was there, I'd probably just kill them.
sure you would. With your chinese stainless steel katana? or some kitchen knife?
Actually, I own a pistol somewhere around here. I'm sure most of the people around here, no offense meant to the lazy, worthless fuckers, would probably cry in their closets, though.
Floridians: What'cha gonna do?
Flordia has one of the highest CCW rates. Also some of the lowest crime. I dont think they will take kindly to you going into walmart and killing innocent people.
If you want to be of use, go stand on the coast and wait for some rafts to float up to shore and do that.

Yep... your last line of defense is looneys who like to shoot guns and take orders part time ^^. Now don't you feel better already :p. But it's better than nothing eh? hehe. TBH I actually prefer to be sent into danger if it's close to home: if I do something I know that I'm not sitting around uselessly, and if I don't more of a chance the problem will come to ME and I won't be prepared... there are a tonne of situations (including zombies) that fit this bill pretty well ;).

My last line of defense are my privately owned firearms, and relatively small stock of ammunition. Which is about 500-1000 rounds per rifle. Although my AR is new, and I recently came into some financial troubles and have no ammo for it. Like I said. In civil unrest. I would barricade myself in, and only go out if i NEED TOO.

Well I'd be pretty fooked to be honest, I live in residence halls at my university, so if they got in, it'd only be a matter of time before everyone was turned, and living in the uk means that getting firearms is almost an impossibility, though I do have a fair few guitars in my room, which could make nice clobbering instruments :D.

Actually I feel pretty safe. About half an hour away is Fort Bragg, home of the U.S. Army Special Forces, 82nd Airborne, and Delta Force. Used to have freaking A 10 Warthogs there too, but they moved away. In the even of a Zombie apocalypse in my town, I'd head over that way.

Ooh, cool. I've got a naval air station nearby. My city would totally survive the zombie apocalypse, though. We rock like that.

I mean, I live in a golfing town where nearly every person is over 65. So it kind of is a zombie apocalypse already.

Jump out window on to roof, clime on to higher up roof, bring a book and blanket, watch the mayhem, await rescue/death, whilst nibbling on the uncooked rice that is the only sustenance currently in my room.

Primary Action: I'd most likely be in my room at the time, I still have a hockey stick (field) taped, so that should last long enough to gather some decent stuff from the shed. Before I leave my room I'd grab a bag to gather some food supplies on the way through the kitchen (water, long lasting food items). Getting to the shed shouldn't be much problem as it's an open plan house so I can see zombies coming and I'd head out the back.

Secondary Action: I'd try and contact via phone (if the services are still up) my friends to find out if they're still alive. We would then group up and decide which place would be a good place to barricade/hold off. As I live on the outskirts of our small city, in a small area, that would most likely be the primary zone to barricade. Rather than my house, there is a morrisons store just down the road from me (15 mins walk) which would be more appropriate to stay in as: there are supplies there, other survivors would gather there most likely (power in numbers).

Surviving: The next stages until rescue does arrive or if we are forced to live forever here with no help is to survive. If help is eventually going to arrive then its basically a shortened version of what i'm about to say if we are to survive forever. We would lead expeditions to certain key elements in the city making sure to kill zombies while we are there. That way we can spread out and retake parts of the city. The other key places would be, the other supermarkets (in order to find more survivors and help maintain communication links with them). The next places would be other key stores. Heading to the hardware store would be the next best option to gather supplies to help create barricades and use as weapons. The next place would be the city center. There is a gun and tackle store and several other key places of use. Creating a small sanctuary in the city square would be a good choice, it is next to a large performance hall which can easily house a lot of people. The next stages would be to gather people to help erect walls and barricades and small lookouts. When that is finished, supplies from the smaller stores around the city would be transferred here. Anyone with farming knowledge would be ordered to grow crops in the farms circling the city. Slowly but surely a working society is built.

I am assuming zombies have eyes some I am going to use hairspray to blind them and grap an mp3 and put some running music on. Then I just run to a hospital or tall building and run to the roof. I barricade the door and stock on food and wait it out ( assuming zombies cannot climb walls or use explosives)

This is why I'm in track and field. :]
Hand Drill + 3/8ths Masonry Bit + Full battery to get me to a nice spot with füd and friendly peoples.

I've been thinking about getting a rifle, but I'm in California, so I've got some hurdles to get over before making any purchases.

So you will go to a heavily populated building, where most infected will go. Then you think you will gain access to the roof, and get enough food up there?
I think the other thousand people in the building would have a problem with that.

To be honest, if that really did happen and zombie hordes began attacking... my drastically shortened life ( and most likely those of everyone elses) would come to an end either in a frenzy of terrifying claws slashing through the dark or in a crushing instant as I threw myself off a 20 storey building.

Grab near by space heater and book it for car.
Get in car and drive to mall.
Use key to get into back room of sporting goods ware house.
Grab rifles... lots and lots of ammo but cant forget the M107. (I kid you not we have one and you can buy it for 4000 USD if you want it.)
Get back in car and head for the hills.
I live in Colorado so the mountains are pretty nice to be in. If all else fails I will head for Florida get on the boat and live on the sea or possibly the Makin Atoll. (Always wanted to do that anyways)

OHH... Almost forgot grab my good friend Katie in Wyoming (I have trained her well in the art of zombie survival)
Im also working on creating the Replicators. Id become one of them and be their supreme leader.
If you don't know what a Replicator is here:http://stargate.wikia.com/wiki/Replicator
