lets see i live about 9 km from the absolute center of san jose, ca and given that san jose would be a high value target they will most likely aim at about the center since that is where the largest concentration of people is. Given that a modern hydrogen bomb is way greater in destruction than those used at the end of ww2 i might be within range for instant destruction where i really wont have time to say anything but if i was farther out id probably say something like "Well ... shit"
