Hey, now guys, We don't know how well Smith would do Bond. It could be a flop, yes, but you never know.

Anyway, I'm a big fan of Daniel Craigs Bond.

I honestly think the chances of Craig leaving is slim. He most likely signed a contract for a minimum amount of Bond movies and I doubt they only signed him on for two; he'll probably just go do other projects while this MGM mess is worked on. If they were to replace him though it'd most likely be Clive Owen since he was originally going to be the next Bond before they signed on Daniel Craig.

Daniel Craig has built up his own bond that we're getting used to and actually like. I wish they'd stop thinking its going to be a big A-lister, especially American ones, its not going to happen!

Will Smith? Seriously? They might as well just turn the next Bond film into Bad Boys 3 if they did pick him. I know I certainly wouldn't watch it.
But, Martin Lawrence as M? Hell, i'd watch it.

Shit just got real, Mister Bond.

I really hope that Daniel Craig doesn't get kicked out. He makes a very good Bond, and so far neither of his two movies have really been all that great. He deserves one really awesome Bond movie at least.

Will...Smith? Heh, I dont think so...seriously.

As for Christian Bale, I could see that, definetly
I could see them do Will Smith and when I say Will Smith I just mean any black guy, or even a woman, a lot of movies I see these days put the wrong people in the wrong roles (like a woman for a man...fucking bull shit, or a black guy for a white character)

Christian Bale as Bond? I can see that, he's done some great movies.

Sam Worthington? Well he's pretty much played the same guy in every film he's been in, so he'd have to actually...well, get some charisma for a start.

And Will Smith? ...sure, why not? If he can do it, let him do it.

Blond Bond? I can handle.

African American bond? That could be very awkward.

Like Will Smith though. If he is in it, I will probably end up seeing it.

Well since MGM is a british studio, I would imagine it would be someone from the island. The whole country threw a fit when Daniel Graig was chosen because he wasnt from the "right" part of the island for their taste. Maybe we could get Yahtzee in to do it. The goatee and stylish hat certainly attract the ladies.

I'd rather have Will Smith than Daniel (Thug Bond) Craig.

But I'd definitely be happy with Robert Downey Jr

Will Smith would just be terrible, how would he play that role?
"Oh, I'm an American transfer James Bond."

I'd like to see Craig stay as Bond, buy it'd also be a great thing to see David Tennant take the role. Come on, let's make it happen

How about an actor that fits the role? You know, brown hair, looks good in a suit, not a stupid brute who has no emotion like Craig.
What, and the previous incarnations had?

You know what? They need to blow up the franchise and redo it. Not a 'reboot', a complete reimagining.

I'm serious as a heart-attack here-- giving credit where credit is due: Klarinette's post got me to thinking...

What if they did Bond as a woman? Seriously. Think about it for a second.

Now that I've planted that in your skulls, I will say this:
Worthington has potential. Go watch his take on MacBeth if you don't believe me. He has been rather strait-jacketed by the roles he's been in.

Bale? Not only 'no', but a hearty 'FUCK NO!' Sorry, but I think that being known for certain roles (Batman) kind of prohibits you from taking similar roles, because there would be the potential for some 'bleedover'.

Will Smith? Well, if you're going to blow up the franchise and redo it, I say go all the way and change color AND gender! Halle Berry for the next Jamie Bond!
