Why don't YOU have Skyrim?

I'm poor! Unless you or the escapist plans on buying a bunch of people the game guess what? I'm not buying a 60 dollar game when I can use that for food, gas and to go to work where I get paid next to nothing. I don't mean to make sound like I?m angry at this guy, I?m just and I hope very understandable frustrated at everything.

I'm guessing I'm with most of the bandwagon here. Finals are fast approaching and I'd like to try and get a decent grade in at least a class. We'll see how that goes, but it won't be better with another top tier game calling from my computer.

Me, I'm a law student, and have coursework due in... 3ish weeks. If I get Skyrim before then, my coursework will NOT be done.

Me, I'm a business student, and had a paper due in... 2 days ago (turned in by then). If I get Skyrim before finals, my coursework will NOT be done.

Oh, and also Saints Row the Third is my Xbox360's game for the holidays. I like to limit myself while also enjoying my games to the fullest.

Because Skyrim sucks. To be serious it's not really my kind of game. I don't think I will like it, but don't take me for a hater. I spent some time trying to convince my friend to go get that or Oblivion, it's not for me, but I am sure it's great if you're into that kind of stuff. I'm not really a fan of story driven games.

If your experience with Elder Scrolls games is that they are story driven then you're playing them wrong.

I don't have Skyrin because it is good but not great and I'm not paying $60 for a game that is just good.

All of my spending money for the last two months is going straight to getting my family Christmas, and my Xbox doesn't play disks. I am, however, getting a PS3 for Christmas and will be buying it after December.

While I am one of those who does not like the series that well, I have been giving Oblivion a fair shot and the game just...bores me. I am not sure if it is the open world experience or what but the series has never really drawn me in. I doubt I will get Skyrim but I still thought giving Oblivion a shot was worth it, plus it was on sale so why not?

Bethesda has never made a game I've enjoyed, so why the hell would I buy their newest game that everyone won't shut up about?

Also, everyone keeps buying these crappy games, so the games I actually do enjoy are crowded out of the market and I don't get to play them at any price any more.
