and pretty much every "must watch for school" movie ever
So you didn't enjoy "Of Mice and Men" with (incredibly) John Malkovich as Lenny?
I think they really screwed up with that role; I mean, John Malkovich is the original crazy man, like in Con Air. Which is actually a pretty decent movie, considering it has Nicolas Cage playing a redneck inmate.

I'm gonna get yelled at....

The Dark Knight

I have my reasons. I'm a big fan of the Batman movies by Tim Burton, and I had quite a few comics and graphic novels, the new movies and graphic novels seem to stray a bit from what Batman is. Batman and Bruce Wayne are one person, just one, not two like Christian Bale does, and since when was The Joker a homicidal maniac? From memory, Batman dropped him in a vat of chemicals, and he went a bit more insane, he never randomly killed people like that. FUCK!

Heath Ledger wasn't that good of an actor, I liked Lords of Dogtown, he was excellent in that, but in Dark Knight, look past the fact that he's dead, and you'll be disappointed.

Anyway, it's just my opinion, there are worse movies, but to me, it was just a massive let-down, that's why I decided it's the worst.

Robin Hood: King of Thieves with Kevin Costner.
It basically rapes the entire Robin Hood story into something completely incomprehensible and features many scenes of gratuitous stupidity on Costner's part. Plus, he doesn't even try to put on an accent. Everyone else does their best to sound British, if they're not already British or Morgan Freeman, except Robin Hood himself, who is apparently from California.

With transformers 2 getting universally panned I thought this thread warranted a necro.

Any movie based off another piece of media, whether it be a book, a video game, or even another movie. Ever made. Ever.
Lord of the Rings would have words with you. As would the Princess Bride. A Clockwork Orange, 2001, The Thing...you know, I'm going to stop right there, as, I could be going on a while, and even if you disagreed with my choices there, I -would- eventually list a movie based on something else you -did- like, so :p

Adaptation does not equal bad. Bad equals bad. And, traipsing into the realm of opinion now, I really do believe that anything can be turned into movie gold no matter what it's origins, book, game or otherwise.

As for me, my most hated movie has to be: the Sex and the City movie. I know, I know, it's 'not for me', but I have rarely had more misfortune than to have happened to have been in the same room while my housemate was watching this on DVD (the comp is right beside the TV). Even just glancing over now and then was I witness to some of the most vapid and vile characters ever to be put on screen. The whole thing is, frankly, hideous.

Postal. Or ANYTHING BY Uwe Boll.

His movies should be outlawed and he should be sentenced to death.

Twilight is just as bad.

Every Tim Burton movie ever was horrible. I hate him. His movies are terrible.

Same thing with M. Night Shyamalan. His movie twist turn decently bad movies into horribly bad movies.

Twilight did the best it could with the source. Great soundtrack, though.

And Tim Burton's movies were bad? All of them? Even Nightmare?

Breakfast on Pluto. The most horrible movie ever. They praise gays and bash the people who disagree with them.
