Other things may be bigger, more efficient and colder, but if you're riding into battle in style you can't do better than this!

This, or a Sand Worm, from Dune. Sure, he might be a bit confused at all the trees and pissed off at all the moisture, but I'm sure he'd survive long enough to kill 100 guys. And then I get to party with the Spice he'd leave behind! Woo Spice party!

My mount of choice would be an Ooze from D&D, a gelatinous cube of acid that doesn't affect metal or stone, so anything organic melts inside, and D&D already fixed the problem of how to ride it, there's an amulet that lets you avoid melting when in contact with them and lets you not sink into them.

Best thing about it though probably being the fact that if you shoot at it, it splits apart into even more Oozes
