i just cant understand why doesnt microsoft improve the IE??? they certainly have the money....
But not the innovation. Microsoft infamously split up their dev team after IE6 because they thought they were pretty much done with improving the browser and didn't think it needed more. Firefox et al picked up the slack while Microsoft sat on its laurels. It really is a "Tortoise and the Hare" story.

Half the people on the internet are still using IE?

Someone needs to pump out an After School Special, and fucking quick.

I'm using Internet Explorer... Dunno why it gets so much hatred thrown at it.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that the latest IE (IE 9 that is), isn't all that bad.
That being said, I hardly ever touch it. It can take small comfort in having more use than Opera on my system and also having the coveted status of actually being on my system, something which Safari will never ever achieve.

Chrome has for a while now been my go-to browser, it has something Firefox just can't seem to achieve, speed. It starts fast, doesn't warn me about my add-ons every 5 seconds AND it doesn't refuse to talk with my Internet half the time. I never thought I'd say it, but Firefox is actually lower on my list than IE at the moment.

I'm using IE.... I haven't found any problems with it, or none that makes me want to change my browser

Coming to you from a satisfyingly high speed (although not immune to connection problems!) from Google Chrome!

I only use IE on college computers because it's the only installed browser on them.

I spit on that programme from my shiny Chrome heights! lol :p

Funnily enough I was using IE to read this, as I am on my uni's library computer, but it's been so bad I've personally downloaded firefox and installed and I am using it right now.
