Pretty much this. And besides, Firefox has those awesomely named toolbars that you can customize, and perhaps make as an ironic statement.drbarno said:I'm using Firefox, actually only started regularly using it because IE went through a phase of continually freezing every 5 mintues.
There's so many security holes in IE that it's like dealing with swiss cheese. It's slow and cumbersome compared to some browsers that will actually speed your computer and internet up (Firefox and Opera(Talking about Opera Turbo, which does work.)) IE is prone to random crashes and, as a browser, it's barely passable in Java and Flash departments. Have you -seen- how low of a mark IE gets in the Acid3 browser test? It's dismal. Firefox is good for reliability. Every site out there will know about Firefox and support it. It's way faster than IE and a lot safer, too. Opera is a lot safer and faster than Firefox, but it's not as well-known - hell, it wasn't even mentioned in the article - and so there are a few sites that won't run with Opera. I've only found one, though. It was my Pre-Cal's MyMathLab class.JoJoDeathunter said:I'm probably going to get flamed for this but I don't understand what so many people have against IE, I have it, Firefox and Chrome all installed on my laptop. I barely ever use the 2nd and 3rd on that list, they seem to have no advanatage over IE and since I'm not so familiar with the layout there's no point using them.
I'll agree with this. Click to Flash is the best thing to ever happen to a browser.FinalDream said:Safari (Mac), Firefox annoys me these days. Its like the new IE.

Then use Firefox, and stop giving a dangerously large, controlling company free money and attention.PrototypeC said:I don't understand why INTERNET BROWSERS of all things have fan followings and hate wars. I use IE. It works for me. Why do people keep giving me shit about it?
I am NOT using Chrome or Safari, since I avoid giving dangerously large, control companies free money or attention.
