It's the constant nagging, dick jokes, your mum jokes, giggling, singing, questioning each others sexuality, everything.
But all that isn't necessarily restricted to younger gamers, so I just either play without my mic so i don't have them right in my ear, or I mute them all.

I was about 10 when I went online for the first time. It was Call of Duty and since the game didn't have an integrated mic system, I couldn't talk to other people in game. Of course I had a mic because back then I made Flash movies and wanted to record dialogue for them, but it really wasn't for gaming. Until the clan I was in told me about their TeamSpeak server. I went on to it and everyone there was much older than me and I rarely talked on the mic because I was nervous about people making fun of my voice. I knew that people were annoyed by young people on online games so I tried to at least be a little nice and not annoying and it turned out that I was lucky enough to not be in a clan that would make fun of me just because I was young and I was smart enough to not be annoying.

See, I don't care how old you are. It's how mature. If you're constantly on the mic just being annoying, it doesn't matter how old you are. There are plenty of people who are older than me who just mic spam and yell and cuss.

Hating any one under the age of 14, is, when you think about it, pretty wrong. You wouldn't scream at a kid in any other enviroment.

Still, I guess I'm guilty of this, I imagine half the useless hunters I once berrated on WoW were just 11 year old boys.

A sad state of affairs.

I wasn't going to, but I ended up listening to that whole thing. I laughed my ass off! That kid was so desperate to sound grown up, he ended up sounding more immature. "She'll be so horny milk will come out of her tits", lol!

I've only had bad experiences with those little rascals who just learned the word "fuck".
Oh God yes.

"Fuck your fucking fuck you fuckers imma fuck you up skeet skeet" or something like that which proves they learned how to cuss in 6th grade and from rap songs.

I hate the voice. I really really do. I have no problem playing with younger players, as long as they don't talk.

when I was 12 we did not have online gaming so it was not an issue
Oh the good old days.

Kids and fratboys and general loud-mouths are what make me despise online gaming... or alternatively mute everyone, which is a shame. It would be nice to have some good conversation while gaming, and more to the point some strategy and teamwork as well.

I don't mind them if they just talk to say stuff like "Let me get gunners seat" and shit, but being as they're younger and generally less mature, your average squeaker will never shut the fuck up, loudly announce whenever they get a kill, and then loudly scream "WHAT THE FUCK (I WAS_____/THAT GUY_______)" whenever they die, creating a constant stream of self praise and/or complaining. Both of which combined with a fingernails-on-chalkboard kind of voice pan out to be VERY annoying.

I'm dutch, and my voice is kinda deep, which is good, and if I have my mic on, I don't ***** and whine,

but if it's off, then I'll ***** about hacks and lag etc etc,
it did feel bad when I thought my mic was off, well it wasn't

(do 15 year olds count to the annoying kids thing)

Yesterday there was some tit on TF2 who kept going on about how all Hollywood movies were shit. It just seems that all kids online are just ignorant trolls who just endlessly restate their opinion as fact. That's why the mute button is such a vital part of online play.

Depends on the person
Unless I am purposely trolling I am a very super cereal 13 year old
**Straightens invisible tie and strokes chin**
Or am I?
But yea I do find lots of younger gamers being annoying assholes who have an IQ under 7

Because it reinforces the notion that games are for kids and makes us feel insecure about ourselves and immature?

agreed, though kids should be extended to include up to the age of 16-17, which is sad, because the majority of retards in that age group significantly decreases, but still the majority.

Because children are typically moronic, I was, you were, we all were. There are many exceptions, but I think 12 year olds and under really shouldn't be allowed to have a mic. (obviously there would be no way to enforce this)
voice sensitive explosives? sure there might be a few flaws but hell whats a few casualties for the greater good?

See, I don't get this. I'm often told I'm REALLY good with kids, but I NEVER have had a situation where a kid was the problem in an MMO or online match of something along the lines of Halo or CoD.

Usually, it would be the 30+-something year old twat who thinks it's 1337 to be good at a computer game.

I myself started playing online when I was 9-10, I'm only 16 now. I'm a bit biased because I've never seen any cock-moves made by younger people in my group, but as soon as I go over to a friend's and watch/hear them play, IMMEDIATELY they get a group of children that sound like toddlers on acid, which dumbfucks the whole game.

It's odd...

At most, I get the occasional bad grammar, high pitched voice, or bad spelling, but that's it... ._.;
