This guy, he was a god on the battlefield. I'd equipped the hell out of him with spell cards and abuse his abilities. I only lost once with him out, damn traps.

I've always been a fan of the Ancient Gear series. This card came out after I stopped playing, but DAMN I would have wanted it so bad...

Because a giant ancient robot centaur with a weird claw with 4400 attack and practically immune to spell and trap cards when it attacks and damages a player's Life Points even when their monster is in Defense mode isn't a big enough "Fuck You" to your opponents. No.

The real "Fuck You" comes from using Limiter Removal to hit with 8800 attack points, and then when this monsters is destroyed at the end of the turn, assuming you didn't just win, you get to summon it's slightly less powerful original form.

I had quite a few favorites that I ran in my Dark/Light Sorcerer themed Stall-deck.

The main reason it was split Light/Dark was for this guy: Chaos Sorcerer, he's so awesome.

Also in my deck were shiny things like Watapon (which I could insta summon by searching him out with Witch of the Black Forest), Kuriboh, Winged Kuriboh, Winged Kuriboh Lv10, Dark Magician, Dark Magician Knight, Dark Magician Girl, Scapegoat (along with whatever else that made my deck OP, like my 4* 2000 DEF creatures, like Prevent Rat, Island Turtle, Mystical Elf, ect, and my spell/trap cards that basically allowed me to completely halt all combat until I wanted to start the fight.)

Good times, but I lost almost all my cards (except for some of the ones I listed above I managed to save). Good times, I used to play it with my friends at lunchtime in High School, we would even walk up to the gas station a couple blocks away and buy booster packs sometimes.

Ah yes. The illusive Dixodia The Forbidden Member.

My favorite card is really a type of cards. Effect damage. I always ran burn decks. Throw up Gravity Bind and Messanger of Peace while you throw down Ookazi's and Tremendous Fires. I don't think my deck had a single valuable card and it still fucked your day up.

The trap could be Skull Lair: http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Skull_Lair although I'm not sure.

The monster sounds like either Gren Maju Da Eiza ( http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Gren_Maju_Da_Eiza ) or one of the Helios family ( http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Helios ), even though neither are dark.
yup, that's it. thanks. i fixed my post.

I personally love these two bad boys. While there are some easy counters to them, most people just don't seem to expect them.

Add Power Bond into the mix: Total attack 17,600. Not matter what you hit, you're probably going to win.

Before 2005 it was Blue Eyes White Dragon, always a good card to beat someone with but then when the Zombie starter deck came out it became Vampire Lord

His effects are amazing, his attacks strong, defense moderate, and easy to summon. He's got me out of a pickle many times when playing against friends and such.

They used to allow Dark Hole in tourneys- limited to one, yes, but you could have it. This was years ago, mind you, I've been out of Yugioh for ages...

Light End Dragon, followed by neo the Magical Swordsman, love both of these cards.
You're the first and only other person I've ever run into with a soft spot for Neo. I actually collected Neo the Magic Swordsman cards back when I played... once word got around, the kids I used to play with rounded up all their friends Neos, knowing I'd trade good stuff for him (it was partially my way of helping get better cards into everyone's decks and leveling things out a bit.) I must have at least a dozen of him somewhere 'round here.

This card was always my favourite monster card, after sending out 4 low-level monsters such as 4 Giant Soldiers Of Stone in defense mode, throw this guy down with a "United We Stand" equipped (which adds 800 ATK and DEF for every face-up monster you have) brings it up to 3200 ATT, able to attack an opponents life points directly. Oh and did I forget to mention that every turn you attack with him, his ATT is raised by 1000? Mucus Yolk.

edit: come to think of it, I dont think it removed them from play, just sent to them to the graveyard; still cheap as hell!
Dark Hole actually just destroys all monsters on the field, and that includes your own. Helpful in a pinch (and now Limited) but I still don't think it's THAT cheap, unless you're using it in a spell-and-trap only deck or something.
I was never a really hardcore player, but it seemed like that one made it just a little too easy to wipe their field, summon an 1800 atk monster and chew up a hefty chunk of lifepoints.

if theyre sporting some high attack guys or some overly equipped guys that you just can't kill, it just wipes them all.... and you can have 3 of these things in your deck : \

combine that with some other monster killers (man eater bug, etc) and they'll barely be able to keep guys on the field to soak lifepoint damage.

I dunno, seems a little OP, but there's probably plenty of counters I just don't know about.
Dark Hole has always been limited and you were always only allowed 1 in your deck. Unless they took it off the ban list for a bit when I took a break. That if you play by official ban lists playing with friends without ban lists you could have up to 3. Raigeki and Harpie's Feather Duster were always much more OP and have since been banned completely.

Aside from that decks are so ridiculously fast to summon creatures now Dark Hole is more an annoyance rather than a real set back in comparison to what it used to be like. Also add in the bullshit that is Stardust Dragon and well Dark Hole isn't even a factor any more.

OT: I see there is no love for Dark world cards here or anyway but I am going to have to give my favourite to Grapha, Dragon Lord of Dark World
.

Quite an abusable card as if I discard him I can destroy 1 of your cards and if you discard him I do that and look at one card in your hand if that was a monster I get to summon it. Then when Grapha is in the graveyard I can return one Dark World monster I control to my hand to bring him back from the graveyard. With Gates of the Dark World he then becomes a 3,000 attack point Beater when he is sitting on the field.

While is a ***** when I can bring him out some call this nooby there are very few things in this current format that aren't nooby and abusable in my opinion compared to how the game used to run. Then again Yu gi oh always ran around who had the most abusable deck.

This is my favorite card:

Oops! Wrong one:

There we go; the Change of Heart.

I'll always have a soft spot for Change of Heart since it was the first obviously broken card I ever used to infuriate my friends. Good times.
