I was born in the 70's, thats the 1970's just to curb the comments

My dad used to listen to Status Quo, Gilbert and Sullivan, Pink Floyd, Rod Stewart and the Carpenters. There must have been more I'm sure but these are the ones that are stuck in my head oh yeah and Vivaldi's 4 seasons. The Quo were alright I suppose (seen em live 3 times now, so yeah not bad for 3 chords .)
As for developing musical taste, I hear songs and some of them I like, so I find out who sang them and listen to EVERYTHING they have done. Keep the ones i like and bin the rest, thats why my ipod sounds like a random collection of shit. I like it but you probably won't.
As for better stories I was watching xXx and the opening sequence had a nice thing going on, and I discovered Rammstein, probably the only worthwhile thing Vin Diesel will ever do for me. so thanks Vin, no really I mean it, I know you didn't choose the music but hey if it wasn't for the girl I was seeing wanting to watch you I'd not have heard it so cheers.
Disturbed was something from the Dawn of The Dead remake. In fact a lot of my music has film featured before I liked it, not all. As for ultimate likes it has to be Pink Floyd, I love the stuff.
