Why did I even do that? Just to get 30 GS? 30GS?!
Heh. We on the PC get nothing whatsoever for the gnome haul. At least xbox gamers get something, no matter how utterly insignificant, for doing it.

I don't really go for achievements but I'd have to say rescuing Chompski in L4D2. Just because of the roller coaster part.

The achievement for beating Mile High Club in CoD:MW on veteran. I tried that minute long mission for over 3 hours straight. I'd say beating the campaign on veteran, but I haven't been able to do that.

L4D - Zombie Genocidest, Nothing Special and the achievement where you have to survive through a final crescendo event without the survivors taking any damage at all. So much pain, grief, suffering and rage was created through the obtaining of Nothing Special.

Oh, and the survival medals. They're a ***** to get - especially gold.

On MW2

Never, a-fucking-gain!
*Shudder* This.

Actually Spec Ops was pretty fun except for one mission, you have to defeat 10 extremely powerful enemies called Juggernauts using just explosives and a knife...on veteran...on my own...

Infinity Wards best time was something like 2:30.

It took me 50 tries, 2 broken controllers, several popped blood vessels and a whole 30 minutes to do so.

Never...ever...again.

Hmm... I would have to say FINALLY beating the Nihilanth in Half-Life 1 without cheats. That guy was hard.

Test of Faith, from Mirror's Edge: So...effin'...hard!
To me, that made the game more fun. Probably makes me odd, but I felt much smugger after beating that final room, than I did the first time.

One Free Bullet - Half-Life 2: Episode 1. Beat the game firing only one shot - the hard part is the citizen escort part.
Get Some Grub - Half-Life 2: Episode 2. I still haven't got it, but attempted it many times.
Beating all challenge maps - Portal. RAGEEEEEE in the Companion Cube and Android test chambers.

The Annual Acheivement, due to the fact that I gave up about 20 minutes in (hadn't even got inside yet), so I gave the controlelr to my friend and went back to Mass Effect 2 on my laptop.

Score Piece Collector in Eternal Sonata, for a couple of reasons, first there is an easily miss able one that involves listening to a story in Chapter 4 completely unrelated to the guy who gives you the score piece. It's very guide dang it(I'm not linking it for the safety of your guy's sanity). One other piece involves going backwards through Fort Fermata because that bridge is still out due to Tuba's fat ass. Also to get the last few piece in your second run through involving going through two long and somewhat confusing dungeons to get to the telaporter you need. Overall every thing about this achievement is just fucking annoying.

Little Rocket Man was pretty hard, but a creative challenge.

Marguerite, My Love off Circle of Doom was beyond repetition and frustration.
