Getting 69 stars in Spec Ops in MW2 was a pain in the arse, but "Little Rocket Man" is still the most "Never Again" achievement I've done.

Also, Compulsive from Infinite Undiscovery. Truthfully, I never got that one. I should have, but somewhere in the hundreds of items, I must have missed one. Dozens of hours of work for nothing. Goddamnit.

I don't play Square Enix games any more. Guess why.
This had to be the most brutal of all punishments. And one or two items only occur once. And you have to have them in your inventory... if they are equipped (from the start) and never in your inventory, then it doesn't count. Ugh... I hate you Squeenix.

Not an achievement, but beating Chaos in Inward Chaos on Dissidia, without using an exploit or glitch. That game will make you want to brain someone.
There are glitches and exploits (!?)

I beat him in Inward Chaos with Terra, last blow was a Finishing Move and I had full health ^.^
I just set myself up with Exp -> Ex Force and an accessory (who's name escapes me) that increases Ex-Mode duration by a certain percentage. Of course I had other things equipped, but it's Terra's Ex-Mode (Doublecast) that is the key.

I was disappointed the other day though. I tried to reach 100 consecutive wins in Lunar Whale, but was stopped at 87. Serves me right for playing on the bus after a 13 hour workday... Must rebuild. As a secondary, I've been trying to get the Pink Tail, but no luck yet.

EDIT: Gold Hourglass was the accessory I think.
That's one of the lesser exploits. If you do it right, you stay in Ex-mode the entire time.

Call of duty 5 platinum trophy. I think a part of my soul died in the abyss of rage that was emitted from me during veteran campaign mode.

That fucking godlike achievement on Shadowrun. I spent an extra three weeks on that game just trying to not take a single damned hit while killing everyone and not letting my damned teammates do anything.

I also don't want to do another cod game on veteran (at least not try rushing it so I can get to the online play, because I'm OCD for 1k gs before playing a cod game online), but at least it only takes like 5 hours.

3rd place goes to all of the collecting hidden shit. Gears took forever because I hadn't discovered youtube where you don't need gamefags describing the location (That did diddly-squat).

As long as you keep using HP attacks (and don't use your special), Exp -> Ex Force will keep your gauge full.

I also personally like to use Great Gospel (Regeneration amount +20%; BRV base value recovery +50%; BRV Boost on Quickmove +1%). The extra Brave recovery speed is handy.
Now try beating him with Gabranth.

What achievement on the 360 or PS3 caused you the most grief to obtain, so much so you'd never want to do it again?

For me, it has to be the Leonidas achievement in BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger. A boss that takes away 70% of your life in one move and regenerates his health after should not be permitted in a fighting game.
Something tells me you wern't riding enough ice carz.
For me it was Super Star in FFXIII. It's easy enough. If everything goes right. Yeah, some of the other trophies can be rough, but damn if I wasn't holding my breath the whole time.

Haven't tried him yet. I like Shantotto though.

Beeen trying out Cloud of Darkness lately. I'm at about lvl 13, paused in battle against a lvl 30 (boss) Gabranth (I'm at work, so no play for me).

BTW, do you any way to save the replay in a Chaos battle. Mine won't let me.
It won't let you since the Chaos fight is three parts and probably too long each. Also, Shantotto can really exploit Chaos. It's probably possible to beat IC Chaos with a level 1 Shantotto.

The "Zombie Genocider" achievement for Dead Rising. To obtain kill 53,594 zombies in one game.
I did it because the reward was the Real Megabuster. Then my bro moved out, we got a new 360, and I did it again.
So technically it wasn't a "Never again" achievement since I did it twice and would probably do it again if I had to...
Still, the Megabuster is a freakin FUN weapon to use. One-shot bosses? EPIC. Zombies' heads exploding? Hilarious.

Plus it completes the Megaman outfit in the game.

Anybody mentioning Modern Warfare 2's campaign on veteran has clearly not played World at War's. Grenade hell. CoD3's was very frustrating as well, mostly due to the buggy cover and shoddy hit detection.
Amen to that. Since when were the Nazis equipped with Snake's bandana and a grenade launcher? And I'm fairly sure Hitler hadn't invented cloning machines that continuously spawned troops....
