People who don't know how to cross the street right.
Yeah that sums it up.
Oh and hippies. Not the old ones from the 1970s the self righteous little pricks that feel they are entitled to everything and will protest over anything.

My city is arguably the most remote major city in the world (key word 'arguably' - it obviously depends on criteria).

Otherwise, our claims to fame include being the home of Heath Ledger, Bon Scott, Sam Worthington and Luc Longley.

I'm referring to Perth, Western Australia in case you're wondering.

The motherfuckin' Beatles!
Thats right I went to the same schools as Lennon and Mcartney
Unless someone can pull Chuck Norris out of their towns ass then I'm pretty sure this is a win for the Hookman!

I'm pretty sure the first computer on mainland Europe was built here.

Also the final match of the UEFA Euro 2012 championship will be hosted in my city.

(It's Kyiv, Ukraine)

We used to be the only town around that had a Walmart, then we lost that claim.
My town has literally nothing else.

Biloxi, Mississippi. Hmm, let's see here...

-Uh. We have a lot of casinos?
-Several prominent people have resided here at some point in time, including Jefferson Davis, Jimmy Buffett, Jessica Alba, and Alan Belcher. There's more but those are the most recognizable names for me.
-Biloxi is apparently mentioned in The Venture Bros. as the location where Brock Samson was trained. Pretty cool I guess.

Southington, Ohio.

Former place of residence of one Mr. Mike Tyson, while he was still boxing. As far as I know, his old property is still sitting empty (don't live there anymore, so not sure). Rumor was, Billy Blanks, the Tae-Bo guy, bought it when Tyson moved, but I still don't know if that was true or not.

That's uh... That's about it. That town sucked.

My home town is technically not a town but an incorporated area. We have a post office and a few restaurants, and houses but no city center or official buildings beyond that. I suppose the post offices is the closest thing to something worthwhile but unless Jesus decided to make that the location for his second coming I doubt my home town will ever have much popularity.

Bridgend, Wales, UK

Nothing much of note apart from the town of the Welsh assembly first minister, but its grizzly claim to fame was a spate of suicides that took place a few years ago. The latter is the only thing people ever know the town for.

The Dalles, Oregon: home of CHERRIES. We export any variety of cherries all over the world. Also the Columbia River Gorge is one of the only places in the world with such a dramatic climate change from one end to the other, switching from "desert" to "rainforest" within forty miles. The river between here and the next town is also one of the world's best hot-spots for windsurfing/kite-boarding. All this and it's still just a shitty little town full of cranky old people and nothing to do :/ hahaha

Dokkum, The Netherlands. Famous for some old-man-priest-bisshop-somethingy getting murderd well over 1200 years ago. Eh... What are you gonna do about it.
