Wouldn't that be considered a tool of escape? I think I would be a little creative and bring something that would work as a key that people wouldn't suspect of being used for that purpose. Something that would work to pick the locks. For example, see the "SERE" episode of The Unit, season 1. Or for a good example that I can show you (since I couldn't find a video of that episode online) a bobby pin.
