Zero Punctuation: Console Rundown

I knew something was off about this review. No mention of Super Mario Galaxy or... uh, some good game for the PS3. There's also this: "...have another look at this encore presentation of one of our favorite episodes, Yahtzee's review of the console war."
Well, it's still funny and still somewhat true. Now if only he'd review Bioshock...

And um... what's with the ads at the end? Are these going to be regular, or did Yahtzee just pull up some random humourous ads so we had something new to watch?
The other thing is "unforgotten realms" - which I swear is already on newgrounds.com but I think it will be continued on escapist.

The Escapist needs to have a backlog of ZPs, so they can run one when Yahtzee has a legitimate reason not to post. They could even make money off of it: offer paid subscribers a look at the backlog.
And yes, I think Yahtzee has the ability to do more than one review per week. All he's got to do is complete each one a day earlier, and, pretty soon, he'll have a large backlog.
Well, that was thoroughly irritating. Wouldn't it have been much simpler to say "We're off somewhere else, no ZP this week!" instead of making me run around like an idiot as i scanned through the video hoping for any new material whatsoever?
I was partially validated at the end, then I realised that the end sucked several kinds of genitalia and came crashing back to the reality of repeats. It feels like the Escapist just stabbed us in the back, especially with Yahtzee reminding us in the very same video that repeating things in never enjoyable.

Now we seem to have a few Yahtzee fanboys dotted around, he's a big boy now and doesn't need you defending him. Relax people, he does a good job and is very entertaining, I don't think anyone is denying that. However, as a few people have commented already he does this as a job; he gets paid for it. Sure getting an award is awesome and well deserved, but it's hardly an excuse for such a level of unprofessionalism. A simple comment along the lines of 'sorry, award show' would have been enough, a re-run is completely unnecessary given the fact that viewers can skip back a few pages and watch the video again if they want to. Furthermore, a console rundown from 2007 can hardly be thought of as up to date or relevant now, half way through 2008.
