As much as I hate to say that I did like Super Smash Brothers Brawl, there are of course its faults. Of course Yahtzee is allowed to have a different opinion then I, because that what makes people different. Therefore I applaud him for his reviewer integrity, and his decision to stand by his original claim despite the thousand post on SSBB.

They should perhaps take a look at their own behaviour and see that they're essentially doing the exact same thing; latching onto a critic's opinion because they feel it makes their own point of view somehow more valid. These people completely miss the point and turn into fanboys themselves by imposing their own opinions as if they are fact.

What's more pathetic: blindly following Nintendo and accepting whatever games they toss our way or giving a virtual handjob to some random guy out of the millions on the internet?

Definitely the former, but since you brought this up I'd like to point out that I hated Nintendo's strategy and fans for much longer than I liked ZP. I realize that opinions are subjective and in the realm of "I like it" there is no right or wrong, but that doesn't stop me from thinking the fans are idiots and that most of what Yahtzee says is made of gold plated truth.

I've had my disagreements (namely with Assassin's Creed, which I thought was FUCKING AWESOME) but he's usually a great indicator of whether a game is good or not according to anyone that enjoys gaming as more than mindless stimulus (SSBB).

To be honest, I was expecting GTA IV but I hate GTA games, so this was just as good. I hope it felt as good for Yahtzee too. Its not every day someone can dip their hand into the sack of shit that must have been Yahtzee's inbox, take some of that faecal matter, and turn it into pearls.

Quite honestly, I have been playing Nintendo all my life and by far this game is the singular one that absolutely destroyed all the fun that was to be had in this series. I think more people should consider listening to what Yahtzee said about not getting upset over the fact a reviewer doesn't like a game that you do, as you shouldn't let their opinions dictate your own. That includes the people who suddenly came out the woodwork after the SSBB review going "LOLLOLOL STOOPID NINTY FANBOIS I TOLD EM IT WASNT GOOD IT SUX AND UR ALL STUPID".

Wow... Brilliant as ever. Anyone who ridicules someone for their opinion is retarded. Personally, I like Super Mario Bros games, I find them quick and easy to play and can be quite fun. It is probably the only reason I'd ever get a Wii... if it was free... and came with Norway...
