I mean it wouldnt be the first time theyve done it. The wii u was backwards compatible. The switch is a killer machine all they really need to do is upgrade the hardware and keep the software the same so that it will take all switch games.
I know this. My point being: Are they even going to bother trying? The Wii is backwards compatible. All the GB(C) games are backwards compatible on GBA. The DS played GBA games. The 3DS played DS games. If they know what's best for them, then do it. Otherwise, why bother with that statement in the article? Either they do it or they don't. I hope their sake and ours, they choose the easier option.

Would also like to add, as someone who loves doggos, that even without the incredibly suss placing of the anecdote alongside the 'Roe v Wade' "centrist scorning" email, "knowing their place" isn't exactly a heartwarming indicator of empathy towards adorable pets. IMHO only control freak assholes reach for that shit as a "see, I love pets like a normal human too" justification.

Jim Ryan is nothing more than a biatch-in-a-boxstand. This is such a non-committal and neutral answer. It is the equivalent of "We're apolitical!".

It's always seemed to me that people who look for that sort of thing from pets are less interested in companions than they are in servants who offer unceasing, mindless worship towards them. And sometimes, what they want from pets is also what they want from people.

I just don't understand why we can't have a nice RE live-action adaptation without being a fucking einstein project
I mean... the first movie isn't terrible, for an action movie, but it's all downhill after that. What's annoying about settings like RE not getting good adaptions is that they're perfect for just creating original characters and rolling with them in that pre-established universe. Just make a movie and have it be within the same universe and continuity as the games, they don't have to reinvent the wheel with this nor replicate the first game.

Also this trailer has one of my pet peeves, absolutely perfect hair in a situation where it should not exist.
