Sad to see someone die that young.

This one really does hit the heart. All brawlers fans pay their respects to a legend.

son of a *****
I found the stupidest comment possible right up at the top:

"You hit one damn button to get on the damn horse! How have you been directing movies for decades if you cant figure out "hit triangle"..."

Can someone point out to me where directing a movie involves a PlayStation controller? It's like asking "how can you be a surgeon if you can't jump over the pillar at the beginning of Cuphead".

To be fair, if you are going to perform surgery on someone, one would assume you read the book "How to surgery".

As for the director, there is a lot of tech involved with that in which you would assume the director can use to a certain degree.

All told, directors and surgeons are smart people and should be able to figure out a thing that children can do without much problem.

Surmising this has to do with the PC Gamer article and not BioShock, but anyways it’s understandable for someone to be perplexed. Carpenter is obviously a skilled director, but also claims to be a pretty big gamer based on his other comments. So, there must either be more to the story that wasn’t conveyed or he is just generalizing that he struggled with…idk, horse mechanics?

Because to literally “get on a horse” shouldn’t be any more complicated than hitting “X” to start the game.

I didn't realize that there was a second game, let alone the third just came out a few weeks ago. Spark The Jester 3, this is what the combat should have looked like for Sonic Unleashed and Sonic Frontier. The latter is looking better, but I still show some concern. Spark is peak Devi May Cry crossed with Sonic.

Lol? But also, lol.

The lead claimant of the recently filed anti-competition lawsuit against Sony hosted an Ask Me Anything Q&A on reddit yesterday.

A couple of weeks ago it emerged that the case had been filed with the Competition Appeal Tribunal, alleging that Sony abuses its position in the market to unfairly charge customers.

Leading the lawsuit is Alex Neill, who took to reddit to field questions about the case. It went about as well as you would expect - not at all.

Eurogamer Breaking Newscast: Sony reluctantly raises PS5 price, but knows it can get away with it
Responses from Neill were vague and often didn't answer the question being asked. The most egregious of these related to how much Neill and Woodsford, the firm providing litigation funding, stand to gain if they win the case. Neill repeatedly stated that parties involved in funding or legal action would "become entitled to a fee or uplift," but did not state how much these fees could potentially be.

By contrast, Neill put the "estimated damages" for anyone eligible as a claimant to be between £67 and £562. Neill did not reveal the estimated profits calculated for herself or Woodsford.

Most were left unimpressed by Neill and the aim of the lawsuit. Many users asked why only Sony is being targeted for its 30% commission on purchases, when Valve and Microsoft take the same amount. Others pointed out that game prices are standardised across platforms, meaning a difference in commission fee affects game publishers more than consumers yet the lawsuit isn't being filed on their behalf.

Some even asked how to opt out of the lawsuit - anyone who bought something on the PlayStation Store from 19th August 2016 onwards is automatically included as a claimant.

One user summed up perfectly why no one agrees with the case. "This is a money-making venture for both you and your backer... don't pretend that it's anything else," wrote user cosmos7. "I can only assume you guys are hoping a win here will set precedent to go after the bigger boys like Apple and Google."

Neill presumably thought this would be a brilliant PR move to get people onboard with the lawsuit, but it had the opposite effect. All of Neill's responses were heavily downvoted. Some compared it to the AMA disaster of Rampart. It's not hard to imagine Neill hoped it would go down a lot better than it did.

Embracer Group is handing the licenses it acquired from Squeenix back to the studios (which it also acquired) which previously developed the games based on them. So Crystal Dynamics is getting back (among other things) Tomb Raider and Legacy of Kain, and Eidos Montreal is getting back (among other things) Thief and Deus Ex.

This is a good sign, in my estimation; it shows that Embracer Group is interested in getting quality games out of its acquisitions. Still, time will tell.

GDQ ain't exactly clean, and have done some asshole actions, but I can't blame them. Fuck Florida.

Well that sucks. Cheating on an arcade game or not, the doctor should still do his job.

I wonder how many games at a D&B will implement this type of dynamic difficulty.

I'll raise you a Vandalize.

Honestly, I'm not overly fond of either of them, but I prefer Vandalize.
I like both, but the two songs have this early to mid 2000s going through the motions feel to them. They're not bad, but kinda just there in the background. I get the music is going for a more serious/depressing tone to match the tone of the game, but it feels average. Say whatever you will about "Fistbump", but as corny as the song is, it has a catchy beat to match.

Oh yeah, I definitely like Fist Bump more. Corny as hell, but this is Sonic, I expect some level of corniness. Plus, it does fit Sonic Forces thematically...

...which is also part of why I like Vandalize more, since it does seem to hint at what's going on in the game. Hardly the only person to notice this, but it seems that the voice Sonic hears is manipulating him, while Sage is going to be revealed to be in the right.

I've been reading the comments and "Vandalize" seems more favorable. From a lot of the readings, no fans are happy to have this type of serious song back.
