Because it's only cool when Microsoft does it? I'm confused.
This is pathetic on both companies ends. No one wins. Not even them when they stop to think about it. Which they won't. What is this, the NES days where Nintendo made it so you can only make games on their console or only publish a certain amount of games a year (Konami found a big loophole with that one!)?

And let's not forget other platforms usually get roped into this as well, most notably PC. Because it always seems to be "Realsed first on our console, then 6 months to 1 year later on all other platforms"

I mean it has been a statement for Switch to get all those middle budget remasters of lewd games from the Vita as a way to "own" Sony. This is pathetic on both companies ends. No one wins. It's not much of a statement when Sony doesn't care, and Nintendo's just doing their own thing and getting whatever games they can on the platform. This is nothing new for Nintendo, and they did a similar thing on the Wii when there was a lot of shovelware crap.I mean it has been a statement for Switch to get all those middle budget remasters of lewd games from the Vita as a way to "own" Sony.
I don't care for the genre, but I wouldn't call it dying if it's making money fine on the switch, people still getting them on steam, or downloading them for free, if it's a free game.So stunning, so brave to root for nintendo to help pay for the life support of dying genres
What's dying from Nintendo? Mario, Zelda, and Pokemon are literally ALWAYS the biggest selling things whenever they release anything. So stunning, so brave to root for nintendo to help pay for the life support of dying genres
He's referring to the fan service or perverted visual novel games, that you find on Steam or online that are on Switch. Those aren't dying and neither are the Big N Seven either. What's dying from Nintendo? Mario, Zelda, and Pokemon are literally ALWAYS the biggest selling things whenever they release anything.
Um...What's dying from Nintendo?
Advanced Wars just got remakes of the first two games. Punch Out Wii is the best franchises has ever been, and there's really not much you can improve upon, aside from having a new cast characters. Or having the next one play more like Super Punch Out and the original arcade. I would still buy it. ARMS is pretty much a spiritual successor to Punch Out. Kid Icarus needs a remaster and port on the Switch. I will never play the 3DS game. Fast RMX is the new F-Zero now. Or Redout I & II.Um...
Advance Wars
F-Zero
Golden Sun
Kid Icarus
The Legendary Starfy
Mother
Pilotwings
Punch Out
Star Fox
Actually, I stand corrected. A lot of those IPs aren't dying. They're dead. Dead, I say!
What does the United Kingdom get out of this? I exactly don't like the buyout either, but I find it funny they choose now, after long time to start this. Microsoft can't seem to catch a break with this.
Microsoft was getting too big. Uk said stop it.
If Sony wanted to figuratively be the “bigger” company, they wouldn’t allow themselves to feel threatened by Microsoft’s plans. They fought out of the hole they put themselves into during the onset of the 7th generation, and are sitting pretty nicely now regardless. This is pathetic on both companies ends. No one wins. Anything involving billion dollar acquisitions legalistically is going to take months to get anywhere, and as it’d be affecting markets internationally, the UK is just being proactive regarding competition regulations. What does the United Kingdom get out of this? You cant sell consoles if you don't have hot games coming out of it, it's just common sense. I wonder why they still don't understand this after like 10 years of a whole lot of nothing.Meanwhile, within Microsoft...
