My usual 25-minute commute home from work took an entire hour today because of an accident on the highway. Not the side of the highway I was on, mind; it was on the other side and posed no hazard to the side I was on. People just needed to rubberneck at a car accident.

EDIT: Oh, and add onto that the fact that I woke up to a fraud alert on my primary credit card this morning. Turns out someone tried using it at two different websites and saved it to two others. I put the kibosh on that right quick and the bank is sending me a new card. I have no idea how my number got out!

I am officially done watching KC and Marty's Thursday livestreams with anything Devil May Cry related. They're entitled to their own opinions, but I hate the smug attitude they present with "DmC (2013) having a better story than all of the OG DMC games! Sorry guys!". Claiming "nothing happens or stuff just happens at random". Wrong!

1. That can only apply to DMC2. And only DMC2.
2. While DmC is more coherent in certain places, the story is boring, and most of the cut-scenes are not exciting or only have static camera A or static camera B shots that bob the camera up and down every now and then like it's a late 2000s Bourne movie.
3. Important happens and is hinted at in DMC1, 3, & 4, but as we've been seeing neither one of you were paying attention when playing those games, and people in the chat pointed this out. You two just hear what you.
4. I get DMC4 feels like a side game before DMC5 came out, but ironically enough, because 5's writing and tying everything together, 4 feels more in line with the series. Despite 4's issues, the story is much better than whatever DmC tried and failed handling. There's a reason why there is no sequel to DmC.

I don't need two different versions of the same franchise running around at the same time. It's called make a divorce installment. It's how the franchise got started in the first place. DMC1 was supposed to be Resident Evil 4. Kamiya and Mikami made the best decision making DMC its own franchise, and Capcom should have done the same for DmC and saved everyone the headache. KC and Marty are going to do Vergil's Downfall DLC, but if they're gonna fellatio the story this much and deny why most people don't like it, I am not going to tune in, and rather wait a few weeks before they start DMC5.

Might be worth checking your credit report too to make sure your personal info is still intact. I’ve had that happen before and what a PITA it wound up being to resolve. It was like 16 years ago now and I still need a pin # from the government to do taxes.

Ill try not to rant, but I need to vent a little that if it weren't for Ramblomatic and Cold Take I would not subscribe to Second Wind.

I respected what they were doing at first, but they've really positioned themselves in that demographic of "artificial engagement" that I feel, as an "old man yelling at clouds", is a disease of the genz generation.

This idea that as long as I respond to chat were in a sort of "friendship". 75-90% of their videos are just them hanging out on video, with one of them idlely playing a game near muted and having rambling conversations while responding to superchat messages or whatever subscribers are paying for.

I guess Im just not in sync with this "Lets play" state of social interaction. I want reviews, or at least constructive discussion. You say they dissed DMC? well fuck me I do not have the attention to have sat through to that point.

It's actually even duller in their DMC3 streams. KC died so much and wasn't paying attention. He got more attentive with DmC by comparison, but still fucked up on even simpler shit. DMC2 Stream I didn't even bother watching, because everything becomes dull no matter who is playing the game unless it's a compilation video, combo video, or a review. Though DMC2 is a beaten dead horse, so there is no point in watching almost any video related to it any more.

Pretty much. They tried to be "nice about it" at first, but it's the same smug attitude that made me get sick of most professional reviewers with that shit in the early 2010s. The same "you didn't give it a chance/appreciate what it did!" I said fuck you to them and NT, when most of those snobs, bandwagon jumpers, and fart sniffers were acting like or downplaying what the OG series has accomplished back then and now. I can agree with you and say that I am done with most of their live streams and only hear for Cold Take and Ramblomatic (when Yahtzee is not too up the ass and doing old man yells at cloud rants that aren't even worth the 5 minutes).

For the last three nights I've been living through the utter hell of needing to sleep but your body not allowing you to sleep. I got hit with the worst throat infection I've ever had, my uvula swoll up where it touches that starting part of your tongue that makes you swallow. And whatever passive contractions your throat makes when you enter sleep instantly make me wake up in order to swallow. So I've been shit out of luck in getting any sleep, with the third night (last night) triggering a fullblown emotional and psychological meltdown. I did manage to somehow fight my way into some form of sleep for about 2 hours, and my throat does seem to finally be at the tipping point of healing, so hopefully things can return to fucking normal.

How one tiny ailment can drive you to literal psychosis in a matter of days.

Watching Formula 1 yesterday, and heard the same advert I've been hearing for years for the Sky Q/Sky Glass service that lets you customize your viewing experience. Great! Now, make it available in America! For whatever reason, despite 5 of the 24 races of the season occurring in North America, Sky Q/Sky Glass isn't available on this continent. Why?!? Why can I stream porn from the other side of the globe for free any time I want, but I can't PAY to stream the onboard camera for my favorite F1 driver AT ALL.

I actually canceled my amazon prime in protest. I'm not paying extra to remove ads from a service I already pay for. Honestly the majority of stuff I actually want to watch they make you rent anyway. Every time they wanted me to pay for something I should already have access to I just go download it elsewhere and add it to the collection. Prime shipping also sucks now, and they are mostly just an alibaba reseller anyway.

Depends on the brand you're getting. If you're getting the Lay's brand, then they go overboard with the salt. If you get
Better Made (You have to live in Michigan for that one though) or Kroger brand, they tend not to go overboard with a salt and vinegar too much. They keep it nice and even. Believe it or not, This year was the first time I ever had salt and vinegar chips and I can't seem to put them down at times.

Amazon screwed up on my delivery and gave me the European version of Gungrave Gore, even though the picture clearly shows the US version. I got it from the amazon warehouse too when it was delivered. I already sent the return in and they're sending me a new copy here by thursday this week. If they screw up again, I'm getting my money back and never getting it through that part of the distribution ever again.
