I will say this, the creator behind Owl House and the creator of Amphibia did something right for these original animated TV shows, more than any of Disney's recent animated movie output. Not only did they get LGBTQ representation right in a kids show (the creator of Owl House being lesbian herself, if I remember correctly), but neither are afraid to be multicultural. Both shows have main a lead who are dark-skinned females. Luz being Latina, and Anne being Thai respectively.
