So, I think it's pretty conclusive now. Third party voting has a higher chance of pushing the country left. Because there is some possibility of Trump and Biden falling dead on election night, giving third place the win. Because it's clear Biden has 100% the intention of screwing over the left.
Did you not read your own article? Voting third party is more likely to cause a far right dictatorship. Do you read the articles you post?
We see here a certain political trajectory that has ended in right-wing dictatorship on multiple occasions in other countries in the past. A country is being devoured from the inside by gangrenous capitalism. The status quo elites, who benefit from the rigged economy, are strong enough to throttle any reform effort from the democratic left. But they are not strong enough to fend off an anti-democratic attack from the right — or worse, they actively welcome it as the only way to avoid higher taxes and more regulation. As Dan O'Sullivan wrote after Trump was first elected, "This is all the result of kneecapping any attempt at reform of the system — the reform fails, the pain remains, only now it comes out sideways, through the only permissible path: the far right."
You are proposing we just let this happen instead.

No, you're wrong.
Yea.. you keep saying that, but that is also the most logical step to take once any candidate one the nomination. But you would rather us just follow the path of the far right dictatorships before us like it is somehow a better plan. ( according to your own links)

I was specifically referring to this( from your links above)
Yup, and the DoE debunked this the very next day, then proceeded to publish its report on 9 May, 2001, and definitive follow-up reports in August and December, 2001, after having intercepted the very aluminum tubes in question and subjecting them to tests. Bush, Rice, Rumsfeld, and Cheney all knew, and Bush himself had been told in person by both George Tenet and Colin Powell, the aluminum tube story was bunk.

All four continued using statements they all knew to be factually untrue, to justify the invasion of Iraq. That is the definition of a lie.

THAT is EXACTLY what I was talking about here and confirms what I just told you. Calling me a liar when your own evidence states the exact same thing I did is pretty messed up tbh. Bush did not receive evidence to to contrary until AFTER the bombs already started to fall.
And grasping at straws to make your point does you no good when you don't actually look into what those air strikes were, why they happened, under what authorization, and why there was need for them to begin with. Or how dubious that authorization was.

Because, surprise, there were NFZ's in place to prevent Ba'athist reprisals against Kurdish and Shi'ite rebels after Desert Storm. What happened on 10 Aug, 2001, were air strikes to destroy Iraqi radar and SAM sites after one of them opened fire on an American U-2, in order to enforce the (at the time) decade-old NFZ's.

That air strike had absolutely fuck-all to do with "aluminum tubes" as you're attempting to imply.

And guess what, it was commonplace in the decade between the two wars. Because the US had veto power in the UNSC, it would veto any attempt to lift sanctions or repeal UNSCR688. And still based on lies.

Campaign advisers selected to flip the conservative districts necessary to win =\= his advisors once he is in the White house. If you have to flip conservative districts to win, you want people who know how to do it helping you do so.
Lol conservatives are a dying breed. They need us more than we need them in terms of demographics. The fact you have to appeal to conservatives vs fight them shows how far the party of FDR has fallen to I welcome their hatred to appease people who want more war, bad healthcare, and a dead planet.

Instead of saving the planet lets let half of it die is a compromise

Instead of giving everyone healthcare let's let people just go bankrupt, lose their credit, and maybe their homes, but give them access is a compromise.

The democrat party is a husk in today's world, more concerned with Bloomberg than Bernie, giving more time to republicans than AOC + the Squad.

They take progressive votes for granted and earn every conservative vote they get.

This is the party of Bezos, and Bloomberg, not FDR, and Krugman.

Instead of being held hostage for social issues, let's not play at all.

Bush himself was not aware of it. Look at your own timeline. They show the debunking happened AFTER the bombs were dropped. look at the dates on the timeline you posted.
There is no " grasping at straws" I was discussing the "Joe" intel guy and the august major air raid the entire time. You just overreacted... again.
Additionally, like I stated before, Bush isn't the sharpest tool in the shed. What evidence do we have that Bush ever actually read that Memo that was made after the fact anyhow?
What has been shown, however, is that Bush chose to believe the initial intel regardless of what anyone else said later. That isn't "Lying" it is just ignorantly believing the wrong person.

This is a really disingenuous thing to say. By choosing not to vote, you are still taking a side and it does have an effect. Third parties are not a viable alternative until we break the first-past-the-post system and get private money out of campaigns. Sorry man but if you live here, choosing not to vote is still playing the game. It's just deciding that instead of taking your turn, you're going to showboat.

Also...

The democrat party is a husk in today's world
We don't have a democrat party in the US. We have a Democractic party. Is that what you meant to refer to?

I think people overstate the harm Trump does, and underestimate the harm Biden will do.

Biden could start a new war, Trump won't give he loses interests too fast like in Venezuela, Iran, and North Korea.

Trump will undermine a few institutions, and undermine the US alliance system.

Worst like Hillary Biden will let monopolies, and his Wall Street friends get away with low taxes. Trump could send their stocks to lows with his tweets and attacks Amazon allot.

Both will cure the US of Covid-19 Trump because older voters are his base, Biden because if he doesn't Trump will attack him on Fox, and the idiot MSM will follow.

As for destroying our democracy, no the military won't let him do it because they don't want to see a civil war, and the US arguably has the best civil-military relations. Even Trumps' DHS chief of staff didn't say he would do it.

There is no " grasping at straws" I was discussing the "Joe" intel guy and the august major air raid the entire time.
Those two things had nothing to do with each other. At all. You're trying to claim they do. They don't.

One was a retaliatory airstrike against Iraqi SAM sites for NFZ violations. The other was the work of a jackass who thought he knew more about building nuclear weapons than people who actually built nuclear weapons, and the people who built nuclear weapons quickly made short work of "Joe's" analysis. And Bush was told this, in person, multiple times.

Additionally, like I stated before, Bush isn't the sharpest tool in the shed. What evidence do we have that Bush ever actually read that Memo that was made after the fact anyhow?
He was literally told in person by Tenet and Powell.

What has been shown, however, is that Bush chose to believe the initial intel regardless of what anyone else said later.
There's no "believe" to it. Bush knew what was false and what was true, and deliberately chose to relay the false information to the American populace to manufacture public opinion for the Iraq invasion.

I think people overstate the harm Trump does, and underestimate the harm Biden will do.
You think Trump's draconian border policies, open endorsement of white supremacists and conspiracy theorists, corruption, stacking the Judicial branch with unqualified ideologues, sucking up to dictators while alienating our allies and encouraging even more violence, hatred and division are being overblown and actually aren't that damaging?

Biden could start a new war, Trump won't give he loses interests too fast like in Venezuela, Iran, and North Korea.
People said the same thing about Hillary. We got Trump as a result. Why do you want to do the exact same thing again?

Trump will undermine a few institutions, and undermine the US alliance system.
Obviously you are not one of the people who has been the worst affected by Trump's administration. It's real fucking easy to say it's not a big deal when you're not the one feeling the pain. Count yourself one of the lucky ones and appreciate it a little more.

Worst like Hillary Biden will let monopolies, and his Wall Street friends get away with low taxes. Trump could send their stocks to lows with his tweets and attacks Amazon allot.
That's dumb. You actually favor Trump because you think he would tweet too much about the robber barons and thus defeat them? Are you being serious with this shit?

Both will cure the US of Covid-19 Trump because older voters are his base, Biden because if he doesn't Trump will attack him on Fox, and the idiot MSM will follow.
I can immediately tell you're not a biologist. A vaccine won't be arriving in spring at the earliest, next fall way more likely. And a vaccine is different from a cure. It's preventive medicine. Besides, Trump has so thoroughly gutted the FDA, what gives you the idea he would have the patience to let the lengthy trial process work as its supposed to? He'll either rush it before it's ready for primetime or he'll keep filling the time by hocking more snake oil cures.

As for destroying our democracy, no the military won't let him do it because they don't want to see a civil war, and the US arguably has the best civil-military relations. Even Trumps' DHS Cheif of staff didn't say he would do it.
But you are convinced that Biden WILL start a war without provocation on day one because... he just will.

Between this and unironically using Republic propaganda insults, I don't think you're a progressive in that you don't have a coherent ideology. I think you have grievances and have mistaken those for ideas. You're not wrong for having grievances, I've got plenty myself. But from one who learned the hard way, letting those grievances take the wheel on your decision making will only make you feel worse. Get angry because angry gets shit done, just make sure you're directing it at the right people.

Assuming the democratic party actually lives up to its namesake.
In other words, you're spreading the Republicans' propaganda for them out of petty personal spite. Don't you think that's just a bit immature? Just a little bit?

LOL at me not being a progressive. Voting for Biden is not a litmus test for being a Progressive. I was a part of College Democrats, College DSA, College NAACP, the National DSA/I actually paid dues, My state's pro-Bernie Organization, AND my College's student organization for Bernie. I voted for Bernie in 2016, and donated money to him in 2020, and couldn't vote for him only because he had given up to Biden before my state's primary which was deadlocked for Biden.

Border Policies; Yet under the Biden Admin, they turn away millions of desperate Hispanic refugees. They deported millions, so much so that the Castro brothers; one being a Rep another being the mayor of San Antonio called them out on it in 2020.

Racism; The same Biden that hated busing poor brown people to better schools, and worked with segregationist Strom Thurmond.

Conspiracy theorist; If Biden cared about it he wouldn't have handed the responsibility to police speech to the tech companies, and force his boss to do something about it.

Corruption; Yes because having the son be a board of a company in Ukraine where he has no expertise is not corruption. It's good when Ds does it, and bad when Rs do it.

Judicial appointments; My favorite one; because Merrick Garland totally isn't beholden to big Corporations, and will totally overturn Citizen United( He won't)

Sucking up to dictators; Yes like Xi, The Supreme Leader of Iran, Saudi Prince who gives a crap what his name is, and Myanmar oh wait that was Biden/Obama

Hatred, and Divison; Fegreison happened under Obama's watch.

Who exactly is overstating the harm Trump has already done? Have you been listening to his own white house officials lately? This isn't " hypothetical " here anymore, he is ALREADY doing it. You may want to pay a bit more attention. Trump literally telling FEMA to not pay the victims they are supposed to pay because the people there didn't praise him enough is not being exaggerated here. The postal service that just testified that Trump was illegally withholding their funding until they agreed to his demands isn't hypothetical here. Trumps absurd incompetence in handling the pandemic while we are pushing 180,000 dead Americans is somehow " underestimating the harm trump will do?!" We are still having disinfectant and PPE shortages. My brother is still hospitalized here. No one is overestimating anything and to brush that off as no biggie and acceptable is pretty damn insulting to all of us here who are being affected by this. Even if my brother survives this, his lungs will be scarred for the rest of his life. You know that glasslike effect COVID-19has been having on the lungs of COVID-19 Survivors? It causes lung disease. SO many of these survivors are going to have lung disease from this.

Why is it all the people closest to Trump, that Trump chose as his " best people" are telling us he is dangerous and unfit for office if he really isn't? Why is it that his own generals have told us he is dangerous and unfit for office? His "best people" are telling us that he is weaponizing the department of justice and ignoring court orders because he tells them he has " Magical authorities". The EPA is gutted. More people dead than a crapton of 9/11's and more people are dying every day and you tell us Ahh he really isn't that bad...Joe Biden, who has never done anything as bad as this in his entire time in public office is the REAL concern. Get real here.

Nothing being discussed is exaggerated or hypothetical anymore. The people who worked for him left DUE to his behavior. He has ALREADY been doing these things. According to Trump's Chief of Staff for the Department of Homeland Security, we are about to see a "parade of current and former Trump officials telling us all the same thing in coming weeks." How is that somehow , " Overstating the harm " here?

Voting for Biden is not a litmus test for being a Progressive.
Didn't say it was, just you don't seem to have a lot of convictions. Which, based on your posting, you really don't.

That's lovely. How does this change the dumb things you're saying now? How does this justify your inability to differentiate a misdemeanor from a felony from an atrocity?

Border Policies; Yet under the Biden Admin, they turn away millions of desperate Hispanic refugees. They deported millions, so much so that the Castro brothers; one being a Rep another being the mayor of San Antonio called them out on it in 2020.
You think that a hypothetical Biden presidency would do worse things to immigrants than Trump? Again, you're not the one who has to suffer, so where the fuck do you get the idea that family separation and allowing ICE to assault and rape prisoners is the preferable alternative?

Racism; The same Biden that hated busing poor brown people to better schools, and worked with segregationist Strom Thurmond.
Again, Trump is a white supremacist actively encouraging stochastic domestic terrorism. Kind of an order of magnitude worse.

Conspiracy theorist; If Biden cared about it he wouldn't have handed the responsibility to police speech to the tech companies, and force his boss to do something about it.
That's now what the job of the vice presidency is and you know that, so who do you think you're bullshitting?

Corruption; Yes because having the son be a board of a company in Ukraine where he has no expertise is not corruption. It's good when Ds does it, and bad when Rs do it.
You think this as remotely as bad as what Trump is doing right now?

Judicial appointments; My favorite one; because Merrick Garland totally isn't beholden to big Corporations, and will totally overturn Citizen United( He won't)
So you think Merrick Garland would have been worse for the Supreme Court than a corporate android like Gorsuch and a rapist like Kavanaugh?

Sucking up to dictators; Yes like Xi, The Supreme Leader of Iran, Saudi Prince who gives a crap what his name is, and Myanmar oh wait that was Biden/Obama
There you go again, equating diplomacy to Trump's love letters to Putin.

Hatred, and Divison; Fegreison happened under Obama's watch.
Obama didn't encourage stochastic terrorism from his base. Trump is doing that right now. If you cannot tell how the things you've listed about Biden are not the same order of magnitude of awful as what Trump is doing, you have willfully chosen to look away. Again, you don't have an ideology, only grievances. You have no convictions to have courage in.

So what damage do you actually believe Trump to be doing? If any?
He mishandled the Covid-19 crisis so much so that he made a comeback for Bill Clinton style neoliberalism that will give progressives another decade as Dr. Cornel West says it a "Dark Age" for progressivism like in the 1990s, but for 2020 - 2032, but only if Biden wins.

Also, obligatory the 1990s was a crap time.

Well, that confirms it. You are one of the lucky ones who has been able to avoid most of the pain of the last 4 years. I envy you that. But seriously, learn to appreciate that more. Right now you just take it for granted and are hopelessly out of touch as a result.

Right now, you are effectively volunteering myself and millions of other people who have been hit hard by this incompetent boob as human sacrifices to a cult of personality to Bernie Sanders. Well, I'm not your blood sacrifice. I want to live and my odds of doing so go up significantly with Trump out of office. I'm not going to let Trump get a second term just so some dude on the internet can feel validated.
