i gotta agree completely to the post. yeah, there are some nice people out there, but my nice-idiot/jackass ratio is extremely low. i'm the guy where if i decide to go to a movie or a store, i get extremely pissed at people that say hi (friends not included). i understand it's a nice gesture...
same. upgrading to a newer system that still plays the older games is always a smart move to me. plus i can just throw all 3 playstations into one vote.
i remember watching some commercials when the original was released and thought "that games looks stupid", later i borrowed it from a dorm buddy and was thinking "why the hell didn't people think of this before?".
Folklore was pretty interesting. so was Valkyria Chronicles. MAG might be worth looking into when it comes out. Disgaea 3 for turn base RPG. might be others i would recommend to at least take a look but can't remember off the top of my head. oh, forgot about MotorStorm, pretty good fast paced...
loved the original Dot.Hack anime and the games are decent with good plots, but couldn't stand the anime that came out after the first game series released. maybe the G.U. anime would be back to par, have to check it out sometime.
hell yeah, also liked that one boss in ZoE2 that looked like it was covered in dark energy with a angel statue for an head, been too long don't remember names well.
as for a plain vehicle, i rather have a nimble motorcycle
MegaMan in my opinion just didn't do too well when they jumped to 3D (excluding Legends). the jump made the X series feel a little slower then the earlier titles (X 1-6)and controls while still the same, made me feel like i was trying to accurately control a drunk in the middle of a war zone...
hm. Digital Devil Saga is pretty good. Dark Cloud 2 was loads of fun. i can look through my library of ps2/3 games for recommendations. also, what about turn based RPGs? if so i might have a couple more recommendations.
you know, i liked the idea of emulators, and understand why they're illegal, but i always thought why don't they sell emulators/roms on their website? that way they still get paid and we get to play the games.
