"This despite the fact that the comic is absolutely terrible. Miller's art was never particularly good (yeah, I said it), the political themes are frankly childish, and its gender politics are, to put it mildly, really awkward."
I hate it when people state their opinion as an absolute FACT.
It's kind of a shame you told us your idea, I would have loved to have played a game like that, in the right hands it could have really been something.
I can completely confirm what this man says, my brother, recently worked at Codemasters (Guildford branch), he left in 2010 but has kept in touch with many of the programmers he met there, last he spoke to me about it, he said they were running the place like a nazi camp.
So I recently youtube'd (not a word) one armed gaming and just found a bunch of vids of either modded controllers, or people playing with one hand and a stump. Anyway I put together this vid to let anyone else with one arm out there who is feeling a bit apprehensive about trying to play a game...
I have one arm and couldn't care less if someone called me disabled or handicapped. The fact is both terms don't yield nice connotations, also I don't think it's fair that because you are disabled you believe you can declare what all people with disabilities consider offensive, lastly I can't...
Wow, arragant much? I have to take issue with the fact that the sentence, 'Not surprisingly, it worked better than expected.' makes no sense. If it worked better than you expected it to, how could you not be surprised?
Totally understandable, I've been reluctant to start a thread like this in the past simply because I don't want it to be perseived as an excuse for a boast, I will definitely upload a video demonstrating how I play in the next week or so, needless to say you will be getting a link :D.
Wow that's a refreshing way of looking at it, it's good to get an outsiders perspective, I will defo upload a vid in the next month, got 2 work out a way to film it so no one can say it's fake.
