What 'Class' Do You Naturally Tend To Play In Games?

Anything that makes it difficult for the enemy to actually attack me. I love applying conditions and avoiding damage, so I my favorite professions have been mesmers, conjurers, bards, and thieves. I love pranks and chaos so I suspect that's why I gravitate towards the same!

Guild Wars 2 expansion confirmed, new profession and more.

I'm very excited about this, especially the additions to endgame content. So glad they're moving beyond story updates, because I for one would rather read a book than my video game. I end up skipping most of the storyline because I am a sad depraved little person, and then I don't follow when my...

What's your favorite science fiction show?

The first episode of season two was the most realistic for me. I can legitimately see everything up to the last step happening NOW, even! I feel like the technology might already be there. Such a well done show.

What's your favorite science fiction show?

Easily Black Mirror. I watched both seasons in two days. The reality is so plausible it's delightfully disconcerting.

Poll: Question: Are women less affected by the attractiveness of others, or just hide it better?

Oh god, that is so disturbing to me. As a retoucher I am just going to comfort myself by assuming someone got a little carried away in post!

Poll: Question: Are women less affected by the attractiveness of others, or just hide it better?

While I am always hesitant to make generalizations, I do suspect that this has quite a bit to do with hormones. I recall a study that mentioned women who are using certain forms of birth control tend to be more generally attracted to men, even those that they would ordinarily find "less...

Eighty Percent of Light In The Universe Is Missing

Didn't they just observe photons essentially "time travelling" recently? Maybe this is where they're all going. (Joke.) If it's related to dark matter, that would be really exciting. Perhaps this discovery will aid us in our research regarding that. I think I recall reading somewhere that a...

Name your favorite slowly paced movies

I've had friends complain to me that The Fall is a bit slow, but honestly I think the visual feast makes the film well worth it. It's just so gorgeously done, I truly want to lift stills from the film and paste them all over my walls. Also, I think Melancholia is one of the best films I would...

    Phrases that piss you off

"Whole grain popcorn". Really? Like, what else would it be? I'll have some whole grain popcorn with my gluten free water, then, I guess.

    Hyrule Warriors and its characters

I for one am totally into Agitha as a playable character. I think fun choices like that have definite merit! Also, a Wiki addresses this addition, which I found kind of funny. "She enters the battle because Midna kidnaps her butterfly while Midna is an enemy. Agitha fights primarily with...

Poll: Do you trust or fund kickstarters?

I fund Kickstarters that involve potatoes. But genuinely, the only crowdsourcing things I actually have given money towards are those either involving people I know. I would definitely consider funding strangers, but of course I would be concerned about whether or not my small donation would...

Snowpiercer Director Joon-ho Bong Talks Trains and Tilda Swinton

Tilda Swinton was the best part of this, I felt. (Of course, I'm also a devout fan of her's anyway.) The set design was lovely, the plot was a bit rough in my opinion, but she was such a joy to watch that I think she really made the film.
