Excuse me good sir, I never once called you stupid. I have no idea of your intelligence, I was pointing out that your statement wasn't a well thought out one. Nor was it particularly valid.SextusMaximus said:God, you misinterpret my comment and then have a rant about how I'm stupid?
I'm implying that you should have checked out the bloody game to see a number of things including exclusivity and system specs before buying it.
My system specs were fine. I don't remember the exact listing on the site but it did refer to DRM, and I was fully used to CD keys and online activations so I had no reason to suspect Steam would be so different in its approach.
I went into Steam with an open mind, yes I was fairly annoyed that I had to install a third party program but then again we have all had to put up with gamespy at one point or another.
What you're suggesting is illogical... how could I have known Steam would screw me about before having actually purchased the game?
And anyway... it's freaking Total War! I'll grit my teeth for Steam or even Ubisofts DRM to play one of them... doesn't mean I'll be happy about the DRM though.
