Why is this guy playing so many games? If he can't even afford to ship in his Xbox, how is he suppose to afford Live, new games and proably most importantly, FOOD AND WATER!

How is he turning up to the trials?
Pass... Videolink?
Better answer: He's not agoraphobic and he's lying for attention. Last article had him saying that "I plan to wear a purple suit during my court trials. No joke!" [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/7.151906#3610108]
It's a medical condition, and given that his WHOLE CASE is based on the fact that his consoles are his sole way of comfortable social interaction, I'm guessing he's not made this one up. Regards the purple suit thing... I plan to wake up at 6am tomorrow and go running with my dog. Realistically, I'll wake up at 6, switch my alarm off and sleep in til 8, then have to rush to get ready for work. Planning to do something and doing it are two different things.
I'm well aware that agoraphobia is a medical condition, thank you very much. That doesn't mean that he has it though. Similarly, Cancer is a medical condition - that doesn't mean he has it.

I've gone over this before in previous threads about this douchenozzle but he got banned from PSN in the first place, clearly he doesn't value the interactions he has over his consoles highly enough to warrant abiding by the rules and being polite.
Correct me if I'm wrong guys, but he's already successfully sued Sony for the removal of his PS3 link to the outside world.

He won't have been allowed to walk into a courtroom and say to the judge "lolz I gotz agoraphobia n stuff, can I haz money?". He will have had to have proven (with the support of at LEAST one professional individual who has no allegiances with either party) his medical condition, being as it's a key factor for the whole case. No agoraphobia, no case. My point wasn't "Hey, it's a medical condition", it was "Hey, if the case revolves around him having this medical condition, he's got it".

And at Quadtrix... it's not like faking a stomach ache or a cold to your boss. It's a psychological condition, and it will have had to be diagnosed by a professional.

Agreed. The more I hear about him, the more I have to think 'he is an attention whore liar'. Seriously, its like he's not even trying anymore. I can only image he'll end up banned from bring cases to court himself like Jack Thompson was.

Yes, you are wrong. The case was thrown out.
Erik Estavillo appealed [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/93314-Agoraphobic-PS3-Owner-Sues-Sony-over-PSN-Ban] the dismissal and also filed a second civil suit against Sony for $180,000 in damages.

They should all counter sue him after this is all over for the money these companies had to pay their lawyers.

BTW: I fixed my out of warranty 360 RROD for $8 at Lowes.

I happen to have OCD myself, and really, I can't help but let myself fall into the same lines of thought that he appears to have fallen into, sometimes.

But, overall, none of it makes sense. I have no idea how MicroSoft's support works, but I'm pretty sure that if you can afford to sue MicroSoft over your XBox Red Ringing, you can afford to have it fixed.

As for Nintendo, that's the same line of thought that people had with Bill's Hat in Team Fortress 2 for pre-ordering L4D 2 on Steam. It's just an item that doesn't give anyone an advantage over anyone else. It's just there to look cool. It's like suing, maybe Nexon, for giving special looks and clothes to people that actually paid for it in Dungeon Fighter Online. It's just the system the company set up, and if you don't like it, then just don't play.

As for the PSN deal, I have no idea what grounds it's all going by, but if it's something minor like calling someone a fag or whatever while playing Resistance, than that seems kind of stupid for a start on Sony's end... but I've got no idea what's really going on, so whatever.

Bottom line is, MS and Nintendo sure didn't do anything to cause him undue stress or whatever.

Considering you don't need any money to replace a red ringed 360, he might actually get counter sued by microsoft. They send you the box and pay for your shipping.
Sadly they don't send you a box anymore, but they still pay for shipping and everything else you just have to come up with maybe $2.00 depending on how nice of a box and packaging you want. And for someone paying large amounts of court cost that might be a lot to him.

You're wrong. The Judge threw it out of Court and he appealed and now it's in the process of being waited through the terribly backlogged court system - probably something to do with the people filing frivolous shitty lawsuits.

I think we can all understand why we as gamers are not taken seriously. Ah well, it's been pretty hard for me to take any group/race/organization with excessive numbers of humans seriously.

Yeah this about sums it up. Well that and the words "Not a chance in hell."
I really have to laugh though 'cause he claims he can't afford to get his 360 fixed, but he can apparently afford a lawyer to sue Microsoft.
In which case:
I mean; Microsoft AND Nintendo?
Actually I think this guy needs a Triple Facepalm.
Got two things better than triple facepalm:

He will not succeed against Nintendo, it's a breach of the T&C's. Also he's just a bloody idiot with the 360, he try phoning Microsoft? Doubt it.

I hope no judge takes this case and he gets laughed out. Disabled or not he's an idiot.

He's suing Microsoft because he can't afford to fix his RRoD....This repair is free and the only thing you have to pay for is the shipping...which is $10.50 if you don't supply your own box. Is he living out of a box with an extension cord running from an electronics store?

This, and why would he pay so much lawyers, and not just get a new xbox 360, Also why doesnt he do a more logical law suit, not these.

What a n00b! FAIL...

But in all seriousness companies like Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft have million dollar lawyers and if he really is too poor to send his RROD 360 back for repair then I doubt who ever he's hired as a lawyer will be able to do much.
